Which brings us back to my original point. When we drafted him, maybe we hoped he could play tough inside, rebound, and hit an open outside shot. So basically Ed's role, but with better outside shooting (note that I'm not saying they are the same player or even that similar in play style). It's not like it's been a given that we were going to keep Ed forever. Lots of trade talk and talk about what to do when his deal expires. He's on the last year of his deal. I hope we keep Ed.
