I'm afraid this game will be another big bummer. We haven't done well against mobile shot blocking centers or teams with big shooting guards. Add to that Aminu being a bad match up for Favors. I wouldn't mind seeing Vonleh start because of the match up, but I would be surprised if Stotts did it.

I feel like the league has moved to a model where all five players are at least average defenders, with the guards being plus defenders--and we didn't get the memo.
Last time we played Utah, we were without Nurkic and Davis and we won. Dame scored 59 points.

who cares about Nurkic's back, he'll be fine, but how about the girl on the right??? who is she?
She's a beacon of positivity, and wants a man that can uplift her spirits even more.

I don't think you fit the bill. Sorry.

Why are our reporters making a big deal about Noah returning? Who cares? He'll play like 10 mins and not do much.
Why was everybody on here making such a big deal about our two draft picks? Noah will help more this season then they ever will.

Oh I forgot its November and Jinx has gone back to having me on IGNORE.

This isn't last year....we can't underestimate Utah. Even minus Hayward they are still a force.

They are 4-0 at home. I respect them, they can be (or just already are) better than us.
Two of those games were against the Lakers and Dallas. Awful teams.
One game was against the Nuggets, who aren't impressive at all and still learning how to fit Millsap in.
One game came against the Thunder who started very slowly because of their new, weird big three.

It's not like they have a marquee win.

Granted, with the way GSW and CLE is playing to start the season, there's a lot of parity to start the season.

Man, please you guys have to stop complain about the W. Win is a win... nuggets and okc are good teams.

Well they have to come out ready at both ends of the court. Don't wait for the 2nd half to start playing. Most these players been playing with each other for 3 years. To me there no more excuses to start the season out slow.

Nuggets are good based off what?
OKC is good in terms of individual (top-level) talent (their bench is awful), but there's much more too it than that, and that's stuff they won't have figured out 3 games into the season.

Different word, but now I'm thinking of the king of washed rind cheeses, Epoisse. Smells like tunchi but tastes like a dream.

Hey, don't blame me, blame google translate. :)

Blazers last in the league scoring in the paint and last in the league with fast break points

Damn

come on guys we NEED to play a good all around game tonight and get back on track!

Hope we see at least some minutes from the rookies tonight, but Noahs return may nix that plan. . .
Oh well . . . the upside is that it places Meyers even deeper down the end of the bench.

How is that possible?

If you can't do one thing, you should be able to do its opposite.

That's like saying, Stotts is the slowest guy on the street at running, and also at walking.
