Should also be noted that if OKC beats Houston, but then loses at Milwaukee, Spurs will take the 6 seed if they beat the Mavs. Is that the best-case scenario?

I think so.

I wanted LAC at 6, but in order for that to happen OKC has to lose to HOU. But if that happens, we have no way of getting to 3. We have literally no way of playing LAC. As of now, the most likely matchup for us is still what it was last week. 4-5 vs UTA starting at home.

For whatever reason they are playing for... something.

I hate it when its like this. Don't EVER take any team for granted. Regardless of record or players in the game.

If they play every team like they are gsw, then they don't play down to opponents and make it tougher than it should be.

Thats a fair take, blow outs are boring, but Id really like to see some of those guys who are going to big minutes in the playoffs have a bit of a break mentally / physically.

I am too. For important challenges and top tier opponents. But the bottom feeders we should feed off of and when we don't, it raises my concerns and lowers my confidence.

As far as seeding is concerned, I don’t care where we end up as long as we avoid OKC. I thought that before Nurkic even got hurt. Playoffs are about stopping, or neutralizing superstars. We have no one to throw at George, and Westbrook is more than capable of taking it to Dame.

Utah jumps ahead of San Antonio as my second least desirable opponent after the Nurk injury. I don’t like the Gobert matchup for Kanter and their head to head numbers back up the concerns somewhat. That being said, I could still see this being a long series.

In his postgame interview last night he made it sound like he didnt think he would play both games. He even said they’d look at the schedule and figure it out. Maybe I read too much into it.

We swept OKC last year and they had PG and Westbrook then. Also, even though we lost the last meeting, Dame scored 51. They can’t stop him.
