Be careful what you wish for. I say we don't rock the boat with the officials. Dame is averaging 13.5 FTA/100 possessions. That's Harden territory (13.9 FTA/100 possessions).

Each game you are to post the refs and then at the end of the game a recap of the total fouls called for each team. Lets track this and see if there are truly some biased crews against us!!!!!

Foul differential simply does not indicate bias. Many factors can cause this. If one team is running a lot and getting to the rack, they will get more calls than a team settling for jumpers.

Meh. This is soft talk. Dame has a Jordan mentality. Jordan missed games when he was hurt (very rarely). Go out, back to back or not, and win the game. Fuck the Clips.

I would think we would be considered a running team over a half court team? We certainly aren't Utah. lol. Id say we are probably one of those combo teams, Not a true runner ,but not a half court team either. The athleticism on this team says we should be running alot though I think.

We play at a fast pace, but our idea of a fast break is pushing the ball up the court and finding the open shooter for an uncontested 3-pointer.

Teams who aggressively attack the basket will always draw more contact and get more whistles. Dame is getting to the FT line much more this season, because he is attacking the basket much more, but the rest of our team is a bunch of jump shooters. So, we still suffer a free throw disparity, but its more about style of play than anything else.

You want to see something cool that explains all this? Compare our FT disparity to our 3FG disparity. They basically cancel each other out. We shoot a lot more 3FGs than our opponents and therefor, shoot a comparable number of fewer FTs.

3FGA:
POR = 236
Opponents = 193
Difference = +43

FTA:
POR = 198
Opponents = 239
Difference = -41

They are almost a mirror image of each other.

Want to shoot more FTs? Shoot fewer 3FGs and attack the basket more. Simple as that.
