Real talk: if the person you loved most in life became a Lakers fan, would you stop loving them?

They almost gave up a 20 point 4th quarter lead. Their team sucks. They aren't going anywhere. I will enjoy them failing this year.

Almost gave up a 20 point 4th quarter lead, while the opponent shot 6-35 from three. This opponent is a good 3 ball team too.

He should have brought collins and Stauskus in. Meyers and Biggie never should have played.
I can't argue that unless Meyers pulls up and hits a couple threes and Biggie pulls in some rebounds that lead to second chance points. He has players that have good games and it's real easy to second guess looking for a mix that starts to work.

I don't even want to see Swanigan and Collins tbh.
Until Harkless is ready to go, put Layman out there until he fucks up.
But damn man, why are you asking our best shot blocking big to defend a guard on the perimeter?

Except he didn't. He stayed with the same squad that let the lead get to 20 after the end of the 3rd quarter time out.

He screwed the Blazers with that. Not bringing in Collins and Stauskus. Not calling a timeout till we were down 20. Standing around with his hands in his pockets. WTF. Not coaching to win.

A good coach knows when to recognize that some games simply require riding the starters big minutes or staying with the hot hand but this is the frustration of most Stotts haters. He is so damn set on his rotations.

Blazers bench totally let team down tonight. Dame, CJ, Chief, and Nurk all +12 or better against the LaBums. Lakers bench destroyed our bench, who laid a shameful performance out there. They better bring it tomorrow against the Wolves.

Whatever. They went in behind by 8 or 10 and it didn't work. Stotts is bad i tell you very very bad! Like i said. You can second guess him all you want. But he wasn't doing well with the starters either. Collins was 0-3 from three point and had 1 rebound. he was -21 while on the court. He was not the answer either.

No doubt the Lakers played with a much more sense of urgency. Our starters were + 16., but the bench had a bad game.

Why is Nurk so slow to react to players attacking the rim? There were times he never he tried to move in position. How do you not see LBJ driving to the basket?

The bench isn't going to have it every night but the starters were doing pretty good. He should have rolled with them more. As well as the bench has played this year I guess we have to live a sub par game from them.

Do the T-Wolves have length and athleticism? I don't know their roster.

By the way Stauskas was also -23 and was 1-4 from 3 point but he did have 4 assists.

I'm not to worried. Blazers have to get every win they can though. This is one they could have had and may regret

Duh Boy needs to go back to being a cheerleader. I couldn't believe how aloof he was as Collins was giving his all to somehow save the pathetic benchers, but there was Ol' Leonard lummoxing around watching instead of doing. Can't the Blazers just buy him out.

He's scared

Violence is no way for Blazers fans to act.

Im not saying it is. Doesn't mean if people are pushed they won't push back. Im saying blazers fans are pissed and drunk, lakers fans should remember they are in portland

Derrick Rose, KAT, Jimmy Butler, Andrew Wiggins, Jeff Teague. Taj Gibson.....

In a word YES!

Oh wow, that IS a very good roster indeed.

Yeah....that's probably gonna be a loss. But I'd feel better about losing to them than I would to the Lakers.

They should buy him out. He is worthless

I get that but how do you play in Meyers/Biggie instead of Collins. Then have Layman and Stauskas on the bench when seth is coming up empty? Seems like a bad mix up to me
Well the three guards Lillard CJ and Curry pretty much brought them back in this game with the help of Aminu and Nurk. It was working so he stayed with it. I can't tell you why he tried Meyers and Biggie. But Biggie played a grand total of 5 mins and Leonard got 3:12. It's not like he didn't yank them quick.

It was a strategical blunder to let the benchers let the Fakers build on that lead. They were bad from the get go. Starters played well in the 1st quarter, then the bench begin to wet themselves immediately.

Stotts to me isn't a bad coach, he's not a great coach either. Tonight was a lot on the bench, and weird rotations, 3 point shooting, and the refs.
There is a lot you could nitpick at, especially when they lose like this.

I have been curious for almost two years now what this team would look like with a different coach (believe me it could get worse), and I thought after the Pelican series, was the perfect time to say goodbye. Didn't have to be disrespectful to him, but he tends to get out coached quite frequently when it matters.

Outside of rotations, the big thing that really irritates me about Stotts is how the team comes out of time outs, do they draw up what opposing player they want to pass the ball too? I don't get it...
Now Stotts is really well liked among his players and in the "new" NBA that's a big deal, the days of the coach who's a complete jerk is going away, even Pop is finding out that younger NBA players won't put up with his crap the Way Tim Duncan did.

Smally and Duh Boy did plenty of damage to their own team in those few minutes.

First Quarter the Blazers were up by one. the second quarter both teams scored 28 and the Blazers were still up by one. But The Blazers were not shooting well at all. I figured the Blazers would heat up from 3 eventually. They usually do. But it was not meant to be this game. happens. Forget about it and go on to the next one.
