Just as reminder for extra motivation:

The Sixers wasted a 14-point lead and Portland took the lead late in the fourth. Holiday, though, rallied the Sixers and stretched the lead to 101-97 on a pair of free throws.

Damian Lillard hit a 3-pointer to cut it to 101-100. Holiday fell on the inbound pass and the ball sailed into the Sixers bench, giving Portland the ball with 7.1 seconds left. LaMarcus Aldridge missed the potential winner on a turnaround over Hawes.

Aldridge had 32 points and 14 rebounds, and Lillard scored 27 points.

After Portland rallied for the lead, Holiday, Hawes and Thaddeus Young hit three straight shots for a 97-92 advantage with 1:07 left. Aldridge's 3-pointer with 17 seconds remaining cut it to 99-97. Holiday then hit two free throws for a five-point cushion.

Portland seemed to catch a break after Philadelphia's inbounds pass was a turnover. Aldridge had dominated Hawes for most of the game but his last-chance shot hit off the back of the rim.

"The play was made for it to get to me," Aldridge said. "I backed him in, got real deep in the paint, turned to the baseline and I thought it was in. I'll make that nine times out of 10. But it was just in and out."

Young scored 19 points and Dorell Wright had 16 for the Sixers.

GO B-MEN!

Trying out that nickname. They deserve the moniker of "MEN" right now. Down with the MCW's!

Well let's hope we can have our road dominance starting this 4 game trip

I'm slightly worried edub will torch Barton for 20 just to make a statement. But we will still win, I'd like to see wright have a statement game as well.

Crap.

On a positive note: My agent tells me Eric Millegan is in the house!

Apparently the Blazers are wearing the Rip City uniforms tonight

Philly has had some impressive wins at home. This will not be easy

They play the fastest pace in the NBA, in order to increase all their players stats for trade value.

I'm not worried in the slightest, this'll be an easy win. Our team is upset proof.

I wish this game were televised to us unwashed masses. I'd be willing to pay.

As mentioned, no MCW, and Philly is playing the 2nd of a back-2-back. Time for the Blazers to get back on track shooting versus a bad team. Road wins are so good for me!

If you're able to follow LP tonight, the Blazers feed is on LP Channel 5

GAME time after the break! WHoo hoo! I like me 4 games in 5 nights.

SCOTT FOSTER SIGHTING! Ugh. Eric, Do something!

I wish they'd go back to the vertical pinwheel on the Rip City jerseys, but I like them otherwise.
