Really? Did he get 6 inches up in the air on his two layups? It's like when the girl's playing in the pickup game at the gym. You sag off of her to play D on the "people who count", she makes a couple buckets and everyone's busting your balls. But no one gets her the ball with the game on the line, or if you're actually trying to guard her.

(PC Note: You can insert "short, old dude" for "girl" if you want. Sorry)

He's not "old Darius," but hitting all of your high percentage shots will sometimes make a positive impression on a coach. I probably shouldn't have said he's "definitely" going to play in ten games, but if I was a betting man I'd say he makes a team (if not the Cs)
 
Oden's got his double double....he has 3 fouls....18 minutes..i think he should start being more agressive offensively....Nate should tell him "foul out of the game"...just go after the shots
 
Man.. Sergio is really tearing it up, gotten to the point where he can be reliable on the floor.
 
Things to take away from this game so far:

-Rudy is not Brandon Roy
-Bayless is a project at the point guard spot
-Oden is truly a force, he just needs to get in game shape
-Sergio is starting to sway me from a "hater" to a neutral party ... he can run this offense and isn't a total embarrassment on D, and hell he's even a threat to hit a few shots.
 
I really think Rudy misses Webster. I think nobody is going to the basket for passes and GS is doing a good job of defending us.
 
Wow. there you go Nicholas! The guy is a project and probably won't get many minutes, but he's going to be a player eventually and possibly make Travis expendable. He's got Travis-like athleticism but can probably play more team-ball.
 
Thank you guys for making all these posts, especially xericx with the virtual play by play. I'm not watching the game but I can check in here and get a fan's perspective and I love it.

I think I've seen more attempts at fast breaks so far in these two games than all of last season.
 
That's amazing how we were down 10 just a minute ago and now up 1 at the end of the quarter. I love this team.
