GAME THREAD: BLAZERS @ BUCKS - 11/20/13, WEDNESDAY, 5:00 PM (PST)

LMA from the left block on hook shots: 2-2
Rest of LMA's shots: 2-6

BUT...only 2 of his 8 shots are outside 16 feet. That's a blueprint for sustainable success.

I never want to see Joel shoot unless he's WIDE open.

I feel like Wes has been the only sustained offense tonight, and we're up 3.

And again, Freeland with the great D right before the goaltend.

though Middleton scored on the last one and Wolters on this one, Freeland's defense on the last two plays was outstanding. Straight up, bodying up and changing shots.

A more accurate way to say that is Joel got scored on twice in a row.

Batum makes some very nice passes. Mathews and Nico always seem to be on the same page this year.

Yeah, Henson, you can take that all game long. Please.

True, but if that was Leonard or Hickson they would've had and-ones on much easier shots.

Good D there by Dame on Ridnour

Milwaukee announcer on Wesley Matthews.

"He has a dog named Cash, he's been money tonight."

Lillards D, although its still not something i'd consider even average, is light years better then last year.

Nice hang time there by Lillard for the and-one reverse lay up

Wow Lillard....if you're going to foul him, at least foul him.

Why does Ridnour play like a superstar every time against us?

I'm still speechless of that foul, we have to work on ending quarters/halfs better.

He's always been decent IMO. It's just that he generally makes more mistakes and misses more shots over a large sample size than most PGs that aren't backups. Sometimes he's good enough to win a game, more often he's not. Could be a good complementary piece to a good team though.

Portland increased from 42% to 48.8%. Milwaukee still shooting 50%. Need more stops. That last second 3pt play hurt at the half hurt.

Is everyone still at work out there? 600+ posts in each of the last 10 game threads or so, and we're only at 140 so far?

Blazers always come out ready to play in the second half.

I just don't get the same sense of us having to struggle or be lucky to own games this year. Last year everything felt like we were walking on a tightrope because of Hickson's "defense" and our un-NBA-worthy bench. Now look at us. Olshey you da man.
