The Bulls had been sucking at home. Then they played the Nets and destroyed them. Even without Noah, I had a feeling they were going to be tough for the Blazers.
The Bulls are very good at getting to the line this year. Jimmy Butler is averaging 8.5 FTA per game, and Pau Gasol is averaging ~5, Rose ~5 in limited minutes.
The Blazers are oriented toward taking (and making a lot of) 3pt shots. The problem with jump shooting a lot is you don't get fouled a lot.
The 2nd unit has been a Bulls weakness, but Mitotic has gotten better and better as the season has progressed and Aaron Brooks is yet another midget PG that thrives in Thibadeau's system. The Bulls bench had a good time against the Blazers' bench players, and that I think was the difference.
