• If the Hornets win tonight, they will take the season series between these teams for the first time since the 05-06 season.
• The Blazers will drop to the 7th spot (at least temporarily) in the West if they lose tonight.
• The Hornets, despite losing David West, are 7 out of the last 11.
• The Hornets will own the tie-breaker between these 2 teams if they win this game. If the Blazers win, the tie-breaker will come down to conference record, which Portland is leading 25-19 to 24-21.
