So many of the NBA's TV teams are just god awful. I don't even listen to Mike and Mike anymore I turn Wheels on for the game and sync it up to whatever stream i'm watching, makes the games 1000x more enjoyable.
I think Wheels is good at what he does, but I hate listening to his broadcasts. So up and down with performance, it'd do difficult for me to deal with. Love the exciteable calls, but when you tune in and here...so and so launches from 3..of cooourse it's in. It's draining to listen to for me.
It's no coincidence that this is the first time in years we haven't played at least one of these games in the Mile High on a second night of a back to back.
The funniest thing for me was, after stretches where we played Mo, Barton, McCollum, Robinson and Claver, the Denver announcers were saying "Wow, our Nuggets have really stepped up the defense!" by the way, didn't McCollum look very tentative tonight?
I had an opportunity to re watch the game last night. After watching it, I'm chalking up our 4th quarter swoon to the altitude. It's a real thing; you simply get more fatigued up here. We were shooting with more arm and less leg at the end of the game. The Nuggets, whose bodies have adjusted to it, weren't as affected.
The more I think about this win, the more satisfied I am with it.
