• Saturday marks the second of three meetings between the Trail Blazers and Pelicans this season.

• Portland rallied from a 16-point deficit to defeat New Orleans, 102-93, in the first meeting between these two teams on Nov. 17.

• In that game, Damian Lillard recorded team-highs with 24 points (7-18 FG, 8-8 FT) and seven assists.

• Chris Kaman scored 15 points and corralled 10 rebounds in the first game against the Hornets, earning one of his two double-doubles this season.

• Dating back to the 2011-12 season, Portland is 9-3 against New Orleans and is currently on a three-game winning streak.

• Nicolas Batum hauled in a career-high 18 rebounds in Portland’s 111-103 victory over the Pelicans last season on Mar. 14.

• In four games against New Orleans last season, Nicolas Batum averaged a double-double with 14.3 points and 11.2 rebounds er game. LaMarcus Aldridge was the only other Trail Blazers player to average a double-double against the Pelicans last season (23.7 pts, 11.3 reb).
