GAME THREAD: Blazers @ Thunder 3/27/11 (1 Viewer)

It's amazingly sad noticing the marketing of the league these days. On the ESPN broadcast this is obviously "THE OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER!!!!!!!!!!!!.... (whispers vs... the Blazers). That sweet Roy to Aldridge pass to a dunk... that barely got a comment from the announcers, but anything that the Thunder does is treated to homer over-enthusiasm by the supposed national announcing team. Fucking sad.

It's not surprising. Let OKC get all the hype though, I'd rather go under the radar and shock the league in the playoffs.

If the 4-5 matchup is Oklahoma and Denver, Denver will win.

OKC is the better team and has a top 3-5 nba player on their team....

of course ESPN would pump them up

Um, yeah, LA has 6 and would have had 8 but Miller's pass went in the hoop on its own. Let's stop the panic mode posting.

Um yeah, that was after McMillan made an adjustment and Perkins was no longer guarding Aldridge

K thx

Roy having to bring the ball up the floor every time is taking away from his game.

Oh shit. The OKC Free Throw parade is rolling into town.

Interesting how Van Gundy said he doesn't think you can win an NBA title with Gerald Wallace as your SF.

I think if he's your best player, Van Gundy is correct.

Wow. I don't think I can stand a whole series of the announcers making love to the Thunder. If we face them, we MUST defeat them or it will be the most humiliating series since we got swept by the Lakers in '02.

Way too many unforced TOs. Rudy looked like he was about to kill Nic right there.

"hi, i love the thunder and would give fellatio to westbrook and durant if they asked" -everyone at espn

They don't seem to be in the game much.

i liked the little soundbite where they ask kobe what he thinks of the thunder. so insightful.

Seems like a lame "clear path" call, imho.
