BLAZERS' GAME NOTES • Wednesday marks the second of four meetings between the Trail Blazers and Timberwolves this season.
• The Trail Blazers have won four consecutive games and eight of the past nine matchups against Minnesota.
• Portland won its first game against Minnesota this season 107-93 on Nov. 30 at the Moda Center. In that game, LaMarcus Aldridge scored a team-high 26 points (11-17 FG) and hauled in 15 rebounds.
• Including the first game between these two teams in 2014-15, LaMarcus Aldridge has compiled 11 double-doubles in 30 career games against the Timberwolves.
• Wesley Matthews made six 3-pointers in 10 tries against Minnesota on Nov. 30, marking the third consecutive game that Matthews made at least six 3-pointers. He became the first Trail Blazer in franchise history, and the fourth player in NBA history to accomplish that feat.
• The Trail Blazers are 8-1 in games that Damian Lillard has played against Minnesota. In total, the third-year guard is averaging 22.8 points and 5.7 assists in nine career games against the Timberwolves.
