Games like that, against scrappy undermanned teams, suck ass. Now we know what every opponent of Nateball thought about our games. Score says a win, but it feels like a loss because it was a shitty game played at their shitty level.

Right now, if I'm Neil I'm looking to make a deal that include Mo, Wright, and Robinson. Asik is still floating out there, right? I wonder if Houston would like to have Robinson back :lol:

I know the 3 early fouls messed us Lillard's flow but he really had an awful game, really forced some bad shots

It wasn't THAT bad.

14 points off 3-10 shooting, 4 assists, 5 boards, 1 steal, and 1 block in 30 minutes.

He's had much worse games.
 
I'd say we deserved to win last night, but did not deserve this game, so it came out in the wash.

I don't buy that "we didn't have time to scout them" bullshit. This was basically Ricky Rubio and the T-Wolves bench against our full-force team. We'd have not beaten a full force Wolves team tonight.

But anyway, it was nice to see CJ have a great game! I think he's a piece off the bench. We need to upgrade everything else off the bench though. I don't miss Mo Williams at all.

I also think Portland needs to find a new way to defend those high picks. It seems that every time the team sits a high pick, the opposing guard gets around and has a wide open lane, then he hits whoever rotates over.

Batum: every game the guy throws multiple bad passes. I mean, just shitty passes that you know are going to be picked off the moment they leave his hands. He needs to clean that up.

Didn't deserve to win? GTFO with that. We led the last 8 minutes of the game - that was not something we stole at the end like the Pacers did last night. It certainly was not a sterling performance, but we did what we had to do.
 
I didn't appreciate him before. You didn't appreciate him before. NateBishop didn't appreciate him before. But after 2 horrible games, we all see how this team depends upon Mo Williams.

The bench has played better in the two games since Mo left.

If Mo leaving for the rest of the season leads to CJ scoring 19-20 every night, and the bench scoring 34 points total, I'm good with that.
