GAME THREAD: Bulls @ Blazers 11/18/2012

Stats don't rule the MVP, the Media does. That being said the blazers will trade Ronnie price for Nate Robinson, you know you want to :)

LOL

Nate is the best guard on the Bulls right now.

This might be the last time we are .500 or above for the season. Let's enjoy it while we can.

No. We'll win the next 5. Gotta bring our A game on Wednesday. We have the most dominant Big 3 in the NBA.

La la la

I do think we beat suns and twolves. I wanna embarrass Roy. I don't think he handled his situation well in Portland ever since miller was signed. Brooklyn will be our streak buster.

I don't know what to say about Nate Robinson. Instant offense for sure. Plays hard every minute he is on the floor. I am not sure why we never want him when he is available. I get that he tends to dominate the ball and his teammates seem to stand around and watch him go 1 on 5, but he does produce. Not sure how good of a teammate he is, maybe that is why no one seems to rush to sign him each year. Or maybe he just plays hard against Portland. But I do know I hate when he enters the game.

Ya know, do U "really" want us to embarass Roy or him do it to himself? I feel for the guy, I think he made a bad decision by trying to play again and in a way he's already payin for that, but I have no animosity and lets show a little class.

Bulls. Better depth? Or was it the Blazers' starters being superior?

Maybe a little of both. Certainly the Bulls are notorious for losing on the circus trip, and they played last night against the Clippers, and probably got into Portland late last night.

No Rose and Bulls bench much weaker than last yr

I've always wanted the Blazers to sign Nate as a backup. Maybe he just plays a hell of a lot better than us, but he bounces around the league like used garbage.

And who cares that Lillard dunked at the end, it's a game. The Bulls wanted to extend the game by fouling, so they got their wish.

Your crazy but I cant blame you. Rose is so damn good and fun to watch, I hope he comes back like AP did.

Rose had no baggage like LeBron. LeBron took teams to the finals but failed to be great when he needed to be clutch. Rose proved to be clutch every chance he got. He could not handle being triple teamed by the Heat in the ECF though.

Best thing for me tonight: seeing LMA actually blocking out and going after rebounds. Gotta love that.

The home grown star has more appeal and is a better story but how I look at it is that Lebron does have baggage but he was also the best player in the game in 2010 and still is.

Yeah he did look more active on the boards. I also thought the bench looked better. Jeffries, Pavlovic and Price all had their moments. Price with a +18 while on the floor.

I may be crazy, but I liked Barton too, even though he was out of control.

It's kind of like a wild relief ptcher: you don't know what he's gonna do but it can shake up the other team. Maybe when Barton gets a bit more control he can really be a bench factor.

I remember LeBron beating Rose in the playoffs multiple times (with the Cavs and Bulls)

I also remember LeBron guarding Rose and making like hell for him. Rose shot a very poor % that series.

Yeah he was out of control but I agree they need to keep throwing him out there. He is very active and it will pay off if Wesley ever misses a game.

Barton kind of reminds me of Jamal Crawford

He's a 6th man if I ever seen one. He has that instant offense ability to him. Now he just needs to hone it a little bit and develop it.

It is interesting to me how well the "throw ins" have turned out to be. Now don't think I am over hyping them, but Both Jeffries and Pavlovic are solid players off the bench. Neither shoots much but they do bring a toughness to their position. We kind of questioned if they had lost a step because the have not played much the last few years. But they are moving pretty well. To have them thrown in PLUS Lillard make be feel like we are the Lakers.

Now we just need to find that scorer who can play with them. I thought it would be Elliot.....

Were they both for Wallace? or did anything come from NY for Felton?

i liked that lillard had 2 long rests instead of 4 short ones. i think it helped price get going a little bit.

Jeffries did come from the NY deal for Felton. But Pavlovic came from the trade with Boston, where we helped them sign Courtney Lee.

Triple teamed? LeBron guarded him straight up.

Will Barton will be in fighting shape by playoffs.
