• Portland defeated Cleveland 119-116 in Cleveland earlier this season on Dec. 17.

• Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge both recorded double-doubles in the first matchup of the season against the Cavaliers. Lillard had 36 points and 10 assists while Aldridge had 26 points and 15 rebounds.

•The last three games between the Cavaliers and the Trail Blazers has been decided by five points or less.

• Portland has won five of the last six matchups with Cleveland.

• The Trail Blazers and the Cavaliers split the season series 1-1 in 2012-13, the first time the two teams have done so since the 2006-07 season.

• Portland has won five out of the last six games against the Cavaliers. Prior to the loss on Jan 16, 2013, Portland had won four straight against Cleveland, its longest winning streak against the Cavaliers since winning five straight meetings between the 2001-

GO BLAZERS!!!

Nice try, but you can tell that image of the Moda is HOUSTON NOT CLEVELAND!

Battle of the Lati-fr-os. Varejao had 18/18 vs LAL last night. Deng finally hit his stride 9 for 15 shooting, 27 pts (5-5 from 3! Yikes.)

Irving played 30 min, Deng 38, Thompson and Varejao each with 37.

This would be the second most disappointing loss of the season after Philly. Sucks having everything to lose and little to gain in a game like this so we'll see how the team does! I'm excited to see CJ, I think he cracks 20points in one of the next 5 games.

Fropocalypse DESCENDS upon Portland!

Watch as SIDESHOW ROB takes on The BEAST FROM THE EAST in a 48-minute CAGE MATCH!

Also on the card: the superfly-weight battle between up and comers KYRIE "THE DESERVING" IRVING and THE GREAT DAME! And Waiters versus McCollum in a four-round bout!

$9 pays for the entire seat but you'll only need THE EDGE!

"The BEAST FROM THE EAST" - this was the only part I found to be a slight exaggeration, unless of course you were being literal, which makes sense. The rest was pretty spot on. The $9 bucks must be some crazy family discount for a back to the wall seat in the 300s.

Watched the game last night on LP. Both LA and CLE play some awful bball. No semblance of cohesion whatsoever. At least LAL has that injuries excuse-- what's CLE's? We better blow them out.

Blazers are long overdue for a huge blowout win! Let Crabbe, Watson, Leonard, McCullom and Barton play the whole 4th qtr! Go Blazers!

This is actually an important game to set up things for the trip. I win moves us further ahead of OKC and keeps up with SAS before we head out to play both of them on the road. And a good solid defense effort win before we head out on the road could wonders to get us going. I hope we arent taking this game lightly.

I just switched to Directv so at least I get to watch this one.

Matthews gonna be play angry now that he missed his first shot. 3 day lay off. :(

Dame just popped his thumb on that pass after trippin.

Cavsannouncer: "Those shots (the Blazers' misses) are going down in another quarter, don't get happy"

That's some crazy spin on the ball to get it to hit the underside of the rim and still roll over.

This has the potential to turn from Kyrie v. Lillard to Kyrie vs. the World.

Mike Brown already with the "Mike Brown Face"

I don't usually do the "FIFY" thing, but I would amend that to "Deng is a pretty damn good player"

Ya, but Deng good doesn't necessarily mean he comes out 3-3 though. Letting a player get their rhythm early like that makes for a long night

I wonder how long it will be before the refs call Varejao for hip checking every guard that goes near him.

it's been about 7 years so far... :dunno:
