PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia 76ers look to getthings back in order when they welcome in the New York Knicks onFriday.
As one of the most disappointing teams in the EasternConference, the Sixers dropped their third straight game withWednesday's 113-103 loss to the Boston Celtics.
Andre Miller collected 26 points and 12 assists for his firstdouble-double of the season and Andre Iguodala scored 24 pointsin the loss for the 76ers.
On Tuesday, Philadelphia named Ed Stefanski as its new generalmanager and president, replacing the fired Billy King, who ranthe franchise for 10-plus seasons.
The Sixers look to bounce back Friday against the Knicks, whopicked up their first road win of the season Wednesday with a100-93 victory over the New Jersey Nets.
Jamal Crawford collected 29 points and seven assists and ZachRandolph scored 25 for the Knicks, who played without pointguard Stephon Marbury and center Eddy Curry.
Marbury missed the contest to attend his father's funeral whileCurry was sidelined with a sprained ankle. Both players will begame-time decisions Friday.
"With stuff on the court and off, we haven't had the best week,"Knicks forward David Lee said. "But this is a very positivething, coming in here a little bit shorthanded and coming outwith a victory on the road."
