PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- The Portland Trail Blazers have beenoutstanding at home this season. But they have struggledmightily on the road.
The Trail Blazers try to win their first game away from the RoseGarden this season when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers onFriday.
After opening the season by losing its first three games - allon the road - Portland returned home to go 4-0 on a four-gamehomestand.
But the Blazers had their winning streak snapped Wednesday, whenthey dropped a 110-93 decision to the Denver Nuggets at thePepsi Center. Despite the loss, LaMarcus Aldridge scored 15points while Brandon Roy added 10 points and five assists.
The reigning Rookie of the Year, Roy has not disappointed thiscampaign, averaging a team-high 20.6 points while dishing out5.3 assists.
Roy has received plenty of support from Aldridge, who hasaveraged 19.6 points and 8.0 rebounds this season. The No. 2overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, Aldridge averaged just ninepoints and five rebounds last season but missed the final 19games after a rapid heartbeat was found to be caused byWolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome.
The 76ers look to end a four-game slide against the Blazersafter dropping their last game, 95-76, to the New OrleansHornets.
Andre Iguodala scored just five points in the loss despiteplaying over 40 minutes.
After scoring a season-high 26 points against the TorontoRaptors on Friday, Iguodala has failed to score more than 17points in the following three games.
