Since there are no bad wins, that was a win

For most people, but not for Aldridge. That's HIS move.
If we got a conventional PF and SF, Lillard would get a lot more shots and would shoot a higher percentage. Aldridge and Batum play ugly-ball.
He only hits about 40% of them though, and there's a certain variety that he seems to hit even less. It's only saving grace is that it's unlikely to result in a turnover. 40% on a 2pt shot is abysmal.
Gold. Pure gold.LaMarcus Aldridge: 2FG% = .473
Kevin Love: 2FG% = .378

I often do not understand your logic. This post is no exception. How would a conventional PF (and or SF) benefit Lillard? It seems seems to me both LA and NB help him get higher percentage shots by spreading the floor and allowing him more room to attack the basket. Plus Nic handling the ball allows Dame to move without the ball. Do you have some examples of the type of conventional PF's you would prefer over LA?
Seriously? Dame had 7 assists and 6 turnovers last night.Lillard is a better playmaker and shooter than Batum. I'd rather see Lillard deciding when to assist and when to shoot than the mediocre Batum.

I missed the game and just read this thread this morning.... seriously go back and read the 1st 3/4 of it, pure comedy, like reading a Laker Nation thread.
Cute. I think we should give a nickname to the times where our offense just becomes LMA fadeaways for 5 possessions in a row.
LMAOffense.

Clearly Lamarcus was terrible with his 25pts and 14 rebounds.
I just don't get Dorell Wright. The guy has the chance to be a major contributor off the bench for a possible contender, yet by all apearances he mailed in his off season, and is completely impotent this season so far. He has gotten progressively worse the longer he's been here. I am one who thought he was a lot better than he's shown. And I think he probably is, if he gave a crap.
Batum makes about 10 times as many bonehead passes/dribbles as Lillard. Sometimes he makes about 3 in a row, like Felton. He overrates himself as a playmaker.
Batum is our guy who finds Rolo, Kaman or LA in the post for the dish. He makes great plays on assists in the post. Rolo's offensive game has thrived when Nico is on the floor. Dame is not great at feeding the guys in the paint. For offensive production from the center position, Batum trumps Lillard as a facilitator. Nobody on our team is a stellar passer around the backcourt. That's an issue the whole team needs to address.

This year Lillard's assist to TO ratio is 2.35, compared to Batum's 2.5. This early in the season that's virtually identical. They both can make plays and they both turn it over at times, but I wouldn't call either mediocre.
anything over 2 is above average for playmakers
In fact, http://stats.nba.com/tracking/#!/player/passing/
Dame is 10th in the league in passing, while Batum is 23rd. Both above averaging on the "passing" matrix
Interesting how both are above Lebron at the moment but both are below James Harden. Didn't see that one coming.

That's actually just sorted by total assists. I don't know what a "passing matrix" is but you're reading the stats wrong. If you actually sort it by points created by assists, Dame is 18th and Nic is 17th.
That is an averaging of all passing stats
Please take a closer look at the stats page.....you're still completely reading it wrong. It's sorted by the total assists column.
