Some douche named Jodie is destroying Wes. What happened to Matthews' d this year?
 
Truthfully, I'd rather have Mo in for Wes right now. Wes is just leaving shooters wide open.
 
How did Wes get a reputation as a good defender? I just never see it.
 
Wes sure has came down from his epic start to the year. Not terribly consistent. Batum looks worse on defense every year to me. But Thats because I only get to see kgw games.
 
At least he tries. I know it's not for much but it's better than not trying.
 
Being down only 7 says more about just how thin the Lakers roster is. Had this been a decent/top 10 team, the team should be down by 25.

Of course, the argument could be made that against another team, that the team might've actually showed up to play.

Need one of those 3rd quarters.... I think we do.
 
Our small ball bench was playing the best we've seen from the bench this year, so why does Meyers Leonard automatically get a spot in the rotation when he comes back? Play him in a pinch as a backup 4 maybe...but he's worthless as a center.

And Wes...he's so unathletic, when his shot isn't dropping, he's a liability. I hope Portland finds an upgrade at that position when his contract expires.

Batum just plays like a pansy most of the time. Can't believe he'll be making 12 million a year next year.

Your posts in game threads are always a ray of sunshine. Nic has 7/7/2/1 in the first half. I really just laugh at whatever you post in game threads. It's an act, right?
 
Leonard really is terrible. I normally don't say that about anyone but his instincts for the game are worse than mine running games at the gym. Hopefully he learns...and hopefully he starts to calm down on his pogo-stick'ing. I'd be happy if the dude never used that 30-35 inch vert ever again and just keeps two feet on the ground.

Stats schmats, no aggression, takes silly shots, makes stupid passes, over-rated defense. Compare his energy level to that of the Lakers.

Wes < 50% FG in 14 of the last 16 games. .36% in Feb. When the shots are falling, you can live with his deficiencies. Can barely watch him right now.

He's aggressive sometimes, doesn't really take that many silly shots, gotta make stupid passes to be a facilitator, and his defense is fine even if it's just the fourth quarter we're talking about. Saying exaggerated stuff like "no aggression" doesn't really make it true. But hey, believe what you want to.

Leonard has been going straight up its not his fault our guards don't stay between their man and the basket.

I think they've scored on nearly every possession this quarter. Take a hard foul, show some energy, do something! God damn.
