NEW YORK (Ticker) - The Philadelphia 76ers will go for ahome-and-home sweep of the New York Knicks when the teams meetat Madison Square Garden on Saturday.
Philadelphia won, 101-90, in the first game on Friday for justits third win in its last 10 games. Samuel Dalembert had 20points and Andre Miller added nine points and 11 assists as theSixers defeated the Knicks for the sixth time in their lastseven contests.
Two seasons ago, Philadelphia swept the home-and-home, winningin New York, 117-112 on March 31, 2006 and then defeated theKnicks by 19 points on its home floor two days later.
A win would also be the first time this campaign that the Sixershave won two straight games.
Stephon Marbury returned to New York after missing one game dueto the passing of his father. The Knicks point guard playedjust 13 minutes - none in the second half - and scored twopoints.
Jamal Crawford led New York with 28 points and eight assists,while David Lee added 16 points and 11 rebounds in Friday'sloss.
New York is also hoping to avoid a 6-13 start for the thirdstraight season.
