<h3>Kidd, Nets aim to snap out of rut vs. Kings</h3>

EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Ticker) -- Jason Kidd and the NewJersey Nets aim to get back on track when they host theSacramento Kings on Tuesday.


New Jersey has lost five of its last six games, but may be ableto break out of it rut against the Kings, who have thesecond-worst road record in the league at 1-10.


The Nets are coming off a 94-86 loss to the New York Knicks onSaturday. It marked the fourth time in five games that theyfailed to reach 90 points.


Kidd and New Jersey will look to right the ship against theinjury-ravaged Kings.


Sacramento has been playing shorthanded all season. It lostguard Mike Bibby early in the season, and then sawleading-scorer Kevin Martin go down with a groin injury twoweeks ago.


Martin was averaging 24.5 points before suffering the injury ina 117-107 loss to Utah on December 4. The Kings, who picked uptheir first road win over Philadelphia on Friday, are averagingjust 91.0 points since Martin's injury.


On top of having the injuries to deal with, Sacramento must finda way to contain Kidd. The 14-year veteran has recorded atriple-double in three of his last five games vs. Sacramento,and has 93 for his career. Kidd, who has six triple-doublesthis season, had two against the Kings last season.

The Nets have won three of their last four home contests vs. theKings.

Sean Williams replaces Allen at the 4 and Josh Boone will start over Collins at the 5.</p>

Mikki VS Williams should be fun, I expect Boone to take care of Miller at the 5.</p>

Like to see Williams getting agressive. I'm not surprised when he makes buckets like that down low.</p>

I've liked what Sean Williams, and Carter have brought to the game for the Nets, and what Moore and Salmons have done for the Kings so far.</p>

Vince with some efficient baskets (hit the 3, tipped in Kid's missed lay in), Williams got the first point sof the game, posted up on Miller, a few rebounds. Only bad thing was he goaltended Salmon's drive.</p>

Moore has scored down low, tipped the ball out a couple times on the offensive end. Main bad thing was when he tipped the ball out on the defensive end to Carter who then hit the wide open 3.</p>

Salmons with a nice 3, a drive. Kidd's been struggling a bit, missed 3, missed layup, turnover to RJ, but he had that nice alley to Williams in the first 10 seconds.</p>

Wow. Frank actually got some balls and took out Vince in favor of Wright. He's been playing like shit this game.</p>

Damn, Boone's gotta watch himself. I hope that doesn't mess u his confidence the whole game..</p>
