Man, how many role playing bigs do the Nets need?

Boone, Sean, Krstic, Swift, Diop(maybe)

No way....Sean is a power forward sometimes a 3 cause of quickness and def. Boone is a power forward and a backup center. Yi is a PF but doesnt take the roles of either player due to his skill set being different.
 
How good is Bilas with his talent evaluation for success at the NBA level? He has consistently said Lopez was being overlooked and was the third most valuable pick in this draft, that he would not ever be an all-star but a solid, starting caliber center. Thinks this pick was a HUGE steal for NJ at 10.

Honestly since both Gallinari and Alexander were gone, I think it was the most sensible pick. Should allow us more freedom to explore some sign and trade opportunities with Krstic, if nothing else.
 
obviously the nets are going to trade away one of their centers so you guys should stop bitching this was a good pick

Sacremento has the weirdest drafting strategy they seem to constantly reach for players...Douby, Hawes and now Thompson
 
We passed on bayless.
He was the BPA, and we was our bigges need...

Lopez has no star potential, Bayless has.
 
I'm excited for Lopez...would be great if he can develop into a Chris Kama type of player, which I can see him doing.

Would love to get Rush or CDR with the 21. Wonder if they think they will be gone by 21...if we can give one of our role bigs plus the 21 to move up.

EDIT: Rush went earlier than I thought!

agree, his shot was goin, but didn't look solid mechanically
 
Indiana, Wash, Cle, Cha all have 3s and besides Cleveland 4s, could Greene last to us?
 
It has to be either CDR, Lee or Donte Green otherwise we're way to thin at guard.
 
Definitely need to get some help in the backcourt. Especially if they move Marcus Williams at some point.

CDR's professionalism and work ethic with a laser jump shot.
 
I'd love Greene at 21. Would be funny tho if Arthur somehow falls to 21. I'd take him and ship all 3 of Swift/Boone/Krstic right out of NJ.
