July 21, 2008, 5:56 am The Nets open their second summer league Monday when they join the Rocky Mountain Revue in Salt Lake City for three games in four days. The team is slightly different from the one that won the Orlando Summer League, with the biggest additions being Marcus Williams and Richard Roby, the Colorado sharpshooter who is also Kenyon Martin’s half brother. The game will be webcast live.

Keep in mind that the Online Broadcasting times are not in Eastern. Also, according to that page the game might not be broadcast live? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Prediction: Erick Hicks and Richard Roby pace our team with 30 points each.
 
I think you are misreading that. The games won't be available online to people who live in Utah, because it is being broadcast on their local television. We can watch the games because we live "75 miles or more outside of the greater Salt Lake City area."

Today's game won't be broadcast online anyway.

Actually now that i click the link it has none under the online column for the Nets game, does this mean no stream for it today?
 
It appears that only the last two games of each day are broadcast live.


Oh well, they'll be on NBA TV on friday
 
This is a bummer. I was hoping this one might actually stream for me. I couldn't get any of the Orlando games but hoped these streams would be more technologically sound.

Not really a surprise though, GS went 4-1 in LVSL and have a friggen summer league dream team. CJ Watson, Belinelli, and Louis Amundson aren't playing in RMR but replace them with Jamont Gordon, Ayinde Ubaka, and Richard Hendirx and its not that much of a dropoff. I heard NJ didn't have Brook Lopez in RMR either but dunno if thats true or not.

Godamn box score isn't working for me, anyone have one?

SALT LAKE CITY (July 21, 2008) –In one of the most anticipated games of the Rocky Mountain Review, New Jersey took on Golden State. Tip off went to the Warriors who quickly scored. Tough defensive play from both teams kept the scores low in the several minutes of play. A highlight came from a dunk by the Net’s Ryan Anderson from a Jaycee Carroll assist. Both teams kept the game at a fast pace with the Nets scoring 7 points to Golden State’s 19 at 4:07 on the first quarter clock. Hamilton was hammered but managed to get off an impressive 2 point shot on his way to the floor. Anderson led the Nets with 5 points. Ryan Dion Dowell led all scorers with 8 points.

The fast pace continued in the second quarter with the Golden State leading 37 -26 at the six minute mark. Marlow put in 4 quick points. The Warriors poured on the heat to bring the score to 6 additional points in just over a minute of play. After hitting the floor, Anthony Randolf made his shots from the free throw line. Marcus Williams turned on his game contributing points. Jaycee Carol put in a 2 point jumper, had 3 assists and added his tenacious defensive play. Marcus Williams led the Nets with 11 points. Despite Randolf’s 10, and Dowell’s 13 points, Golden State kept the lead at 57, to New Jersey’s 39 to close the half.

The third quarter action continued with the run and gun style of play. With 4:55 left in the third, the score was Warriors 66, New Jersey 52. Both teams continued their defensive play. Anderson put in a 3 point bucket for the Nets and Marlow added a 3 pointer for the Warriors. At the end of the third quarter the Warriors lead the Nets 82 to 67. Marcus Williams lead the Nets with 14, Marlow leading the Warriors with 19 points.

The fourth quarter was not a let-down . A full-court pass made it into the hands of an off-balance-almost-out-of-bounds Marcus Nelson who fed the ball to Anthony Marlow under the basket for two. The score accelerated to 91-75 after 4 and one-half minutes of play. The Warriors went on a 14-3 run late in the fourth. At two minutes remaining, the score was 105-80. Leading scorers for the Nets were Williams 14, Anderson 10, and Julius Hodge with 14. The Warrior’s Anthony Marlow 23, Dowell had 20, and Anthony Randolf with 16. Points in the paint: Nets 48, Warriors 38. The biggest lead came with the Warriors 27. Final score Warriors: 108, Nets 84.

from the box score, it looks like jaycee carroll was lit up defensively.

Did they hire someone from the local HS to right that recap? What's so tough about a defense that gives up 28 points in the first 10 minutes?
 
there were a lot of steals and blocked shots, and the Nets had a low FG% in each quarter. Maybe that's what he meant.

The Jazz cruised in the second and fourth quarters, though. Marcus and Ryan Anderson were on the court a lot during those quarters.

he did shut down anthony randolph (assuming that he was defending him). six of randolph's 16 points came in the fourth quarter, when sean didn't play. through three quarters, Randolph was 1-8 from the field.
