I'm just gonna say that regardless of what the box scores look like, you guys should hold judgement. If these guys were playing with a decent pg they would have much better stats.

Yeah i agree man. Swat looks smooth and isnt forcing up shots... also he isnt getting any balls with Carrol shooting everytime. But overall he's defended Kazum 7'2 almost 300lbs very good and has crashed the boards and blocked some shots. Also he's been a vocal leader. I like that.

Those have actually been his claims to fame so far... the only knock is that he's a scoring guard asked to facilitate our offense, but wants to score a ton to make the team.

First rule of broadcasting...it's not about you. It's about the experience you're trying to transmit. These guys are dreadful broadcasters. They are lazy, uninformed, unprofessional.
 
Brook is playing a lot better in this 2nd half.

The way these summer league games are, the players seems so disorganized.
It's like everyone is only thinking about making their own shots.

they've been doing this all day. that's a lot of talking. cut them some slack.
 
I just tuned in. And now I remember why I hate these announcers (I'm using that term loosely).

He looks quick enough, but his decision making is poor

He looks like hes trying to earn a roster spot on every play

I think D&G are perfect for this actually. I mean this is Summer League, and we're having fun with this. You think we could get away with sending haikus to legit broadcasters?

Dumpy's comment on trying to make it entertaining doesn't apply. Anyone that wants to watch this is clearly a basketball junkie and is interested in the players and the game.

Just put a damn scout on the broadcast. They'll actually have some insights on these guys.

AND EVERYONE STOP SENDING THEM EMAILS! THEIR BOSSES WILL ACTUALLY THINK THEY ARE GOOD!
