Are the broadcasters as fun as the Orlando league ones? Man, I'm disappointing I missed those games. That thread from last year was epic.

Hodge was a beast

He actually was 2nd in scoring with 16 points (Marcus was 3rd with 14, Hodge led the team with 20) and also had 6 rbs, 3 blks, 1 steal, and 2 assits.

Sean continued his suckiness with 5 pts, 2 rbs, 1 blk, and 6 fouls in 16 min. And didn't play in the 4th quarter. In some ways I hope he didn't get hurt and in other ways I hope he did in order to explain why he was so bad.</div>

Brook shot 6-14 from the field, and only had 6 rebounds, in Summer League, in THIRTY MINUTES. That's terrible - and this is only Summer League.

Meanwhile, CDR didn't shoot nearly enough, Anderson shot too much and too poorly, Sean couldn't stay on the damn floor, and Marcus had a really shitty game.

Only highlight is Hodge - where was this in Orlando? Sheesh.

Oh well, it's only a Summer League. The thing is, I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Didn't realize 6-14 was bad. One make away from 50%. Could've rebounded a little better, but 6 isn't horrible... now only 2 boards for Sean... that was horrible. With his athleticism he should be like Rodman on the boards.

16 off of 14 is bad. he isn't getting to the line enough.

For a big man, in Summer League? Not that great.

Sean couldn't stay on the floor long enough to get rebounds. Rebounding isn't something we should worry about. His defense and fouling is definitely something we should worry about.

well, utah only missed 40 shots, and the Nets came up with 28 defensive rebounds--30-32 would have been normal. Of their 28 defensive rebounds, 16 were grabbed by Marcus, Carroll, Hodge, and CDR, so either the ball was bouncing long or Lopez was focusing more on boxing out. The opposing center did get 5 offensive rebounds, though . . .

fwiw, we played golden state.

If we played Denver, they would have scored 168 points.

Lame ball to Tom Barisse for not playing Eric Hicks.

Marcus having 4 turnovers with only 5 assists is pretty terrible but then again other guys gotta make shots to get him more assists and it looked like a genuinely poor shooting day all around. I'm somewhat glad to see the kind of difficulties they had against speedier western conference competition because there was bound to be some. Now I want to see how the adjust, that's more important than any win or loss. Lets see how our kids bounce back.

Congrats on your first tech Brook although I hope that isn't a reoccurring theme when frustration sets in.

Lame Ball: Marcus Williams for joining the away team after losing to them. Mutiny!
