After re-watching the game, I'm struck by how "comeback from 18 down with a quarter to go" actually undersells how epic the comeback was. Portland was really down by 21 with about a quarter to go.

And when you figure pace in there as well, it becomes more impressive. The Boston comeback against NJ was in the 90s. The Phoenix games was in the 110s.

Because I feel like it, and because I'm in a sentimental Roy mood ... one of the better game threads in S2 history. I haven't read it since it ended.

LMA isn't Roy, at least in terms of being an every day franchise player. Old Brandon would have imposed his will on the game. LMA didn't, for some reason, and it was up to Miller to finally do what he doesn't want to do, which is shoot the ball.

Credit to Miller for not allowing the Blazers to totally go in the tank in the first half. Without him, this game is a blow-out for Dallas.
