Ya and obviously you haven't checked it because it shows 28-25.

Ah, the wonders of time travel. I remember when it was 28-25. The world was a more innocent place then, a place where dreams could come true. I envy your trip back.

Utah and Denver are for real. This will be a bitch of a division race.

Another cool feature of the internets is that there are multiple sites that track sporting events. For example, Yahoo had the game up to the second pretty much.

Bulls beating Warriors. We should've beat the Warriors. We were robbed. I think that game was a turning point. It really pissed us off.

Ya and another cool feature is there are boards where you can ask about a game and get answers. Usually without a lot of negative feedback too!

These wins are both fun and slightly scary...can this shooting actually keep up, or is the team just hot right now? Because right now, they just look unstoppable. I'm curious (and a bit apprehensive) to see how the team looks when they're not blistering hot.

In the future, hopefully, Oden will always be good for a post-up, power move, bucket or foul on the defender. That solves shooting slumps.

Very valid point. Your second statement re: Greg, is exactly why this team may be able to continue shooting very, very well. Again, how can our opponents possibly defend against a Blazers team that is healthy and at full capacity? I dread any job that is destined to fail (and we still have Webster to come.....)

Oh, don't forget about Joel. Apparently it's not only about Greg anymore. Sick. Fucking sick.

Dallas won again, be it against a shitty team (Memphis, who I think is going to be good soon).

Portland has a serious battle on their hands right now. Not only is the West as good as it's been in recent memory, the East is rising up. There really aren't many "gimmie" games left in the Association. Portland has to rise up, and claim their spot among the elite. And I think they're capable of doing just that......

Man we shot the ball unconscious tonight - *cough* Blake *cough*. Hope we saved some of that for Phoenix, we'll need it.

Aldridge showed tonight in the second quarter why he is part of the big three. That was as impressive a stretch by a single Blazer as I've seen this year, offensively. He had plays on both ends that looked the opposite of "soft".

Was not real impressed with our defensive tonight for the most part. And I'm going to have to single out our center tandom. They both looked a step slow defensively for the most part, and gave up a lot of offensive rebounds as well. Joel is showing some offensive moves though, impressive.

Fun fact of the night - Yahoo's recap once again called Travis, "Bo Outlaw"... It's really pathetic at this point, he is waaay good enough that they should at least know his name.

Sacramento without some key guys like Martin, and they missed a lot of chipshots they'd normally hit, so it wasn't the best performance of the year. But anytime you win by over 20, you did pretty well.

Touche. You win. I did give you the score though.

I like the fact that we for the second game in a row blew out the other team. This time however we did it on the other teams floor. That's good to see. It just seems so strange to see 37 point quarters now and again. That's incredible.

For the past few years, the Blazers would have lost these kinds of games. Someone like John Salmons or Quincy Douby would have went off for 26 points and beat us down the stretch. It's been a while since we've had such convincing wins in succession. Now, if only we can get that damn Warrior monkey off our backs.

I think that's the bottom line. We aren't used to seeing blow outs even one time during a season, and we just witnessed two in a row. One at home and one on the road. I think that is a strong statement. The Blazers confidence is probably HIGHER than it was during the winning streak last season. This time, they KNOW they are this good. Last year, they weren't so sure......

Man. I'm pumped.

who's that??!! :D

I was there when we played Sacramento last spring and we lost. Ron Artest owned us and I found out that I was losing my job while sitting there. Courtside.

Who was it that I was arguing with about Aldridge shooting threes? (me saying he should be posting)

This stretch is exhibit A motherfuckers.
me, when you were drunk off your ass.

He's capable of killing from all over so why put a leash on a guy? Of course he can post up, he's a stud. But when Greg has the more favorable match-up on the block, why not have LA out on the perimeter if he can make that shot? Whats wrong with having some sets with him on the wing pulling a big out of the lane so the guards can exploit the paint? Hoops isn't a ridged game and if he cans 3's at a solid % as well as take the Spencer Hawes of the league to school on the block, thats a good thing.

Dude's my favorite Blazer largely because of his versatility.

I am not drunk now and he is very versatile. I admit this. I just want him to spend more time on the block, Hawes isn't the only guy he can school. Besides, I want the other team to feel abused when they can't stop him. I don't want them to have the "he just got hot from the outside" excuse.

Exactly. He's 2 of 5 from threes this season and that's perfect. Only a few threes and shooting a good percentage.

The guy he reminded me of when I saw him in the McD's game was McHale... it still holds. He did some damage inside and out as well

McHale could shoot but dude had MOVES. That and freaky shoulders. Oh yeah, and cool cameos on Cheers.
