It's a new squad, it came take time for them to learn to play togther. Also I believe the announcers said that they are coming off of a long break. They've had a lot of rest and a chance for them to learn to play together, so they're having a good game tonight.
 
thorton, zbo and baron are all flash no substance players. they get thier #'s but play little if no d and don't have a team concept. pretty easy to see why they suck this year.
 
I'm sick and tired of these silly turnovers, travels off the dribble and 3 in the key. I've noticed that they refs are calling a lot of travels off of perimeter drives this year.
 
Man we need a decent scoring night from Oden, if for no other reason than it opens up everybody else's game.
 
so bayless stopped penetration one time (granted more than we are use to) but what has been so great about him? i stand by my comparison that he's the backup QB of this team.

so Bayless is getting his minutes tonight......cool. Oden looks good tonight, so does Aldridge. I guess we're going to keep it close and win it in the 4th again? GO BLAZERS!!!!!!
 
This has been a weird game. We're only down 1 but it feels like a lot more.
 
Announcers said the same thing, but that was the quickest I have seen oden go up for the dunk. He rose real quick there.

When else did you see him? Summer league? College? Does that count? Bayless's game is nothing like Drexler's. Instead of name calling, please explain in detail.

wow, so you watched him play some scrubs in summer league, maybe some in the PacX, did you go to some of his AAU games? all great competition and comparable to the NBA game. you sound like the nba after MJ retired and everyone tried to anoint random guys as the "next MJ".
