Play of the game, westbrook flexing at crowd before games over. Eat that crow duck face.

Don't know if it seemed this way watching on TV, but there seemed to be some problems with the new court. It was like they couldn't keep it dry.

there was a time... i think it was 77-75 and in the background... someone did the same flex back at westbrook... and he just stared at it and had no retort... it was fantastic.

Soooo...OKC hasn't won a game this season and we're undefeated?

Blake 0-4, but the Blazers were +13 while he was on the court.

I thought Kaman in particularly benefited.

we're one game up on them for the division lead and own the tiebreaker.

Well, that was an interesting game.. We really need to work on securely rebounding the ball. I like that we rarely turned the ball over though.

Ibaka is a handful in the paint when you're fighting for boards, he's really long and can outjump most players

Robinson with more garbage time.

He's now in a contract year, how long until his agent pushes for a trade?

I'm guessing that's happening right now. Agents only leak trade demands to the public when they want to generate leverage against a team that is dragging its heels or not trying to move a client.

Basically, Stotts played 10 in the first half and 8 in the second - a trend I'd like to see continued.

I agree and LA and Kaman kept us in it in the first half without digging such a hole at halftime

Our bench guys were a net positive, especially in the first half and early second half! When Lillard finally caught fire a bit, we weren't down 15, because the bench did their job, and stayed even with OKC, even if they didn't score a bunch.

The bench did fine.

Kaman with 12 points, 6 boards, 2 dimes and a block

Blake with 5 assists and 5 boards, but no points (he needs to improve on that)

We just need CJ or Wright or Barton to step up and I think our second unit will be fine.

Also, did I miss a rule change? How did we have 13 people play last night?

Ok, so a couple things I see from last night that I wanted to put out there:

1. I know it sounds like a high school coach and will probably never happen but I really wish we would box out instead just relying on athletic ability to get rebounds. I hate it when the other team gets those rebounds that we could have easily had.

and more importantly

2. We won the game we should have and thats what contenders do BUT another thing that contenders do that I hope we dont keep struggling with is avoiding starting games slow (mainly on defense). It drives me nuts. Im hoping it was a first game of the season kinda thing. Also contenders finish quarters well, meaning the last 2:00 of each quarter. I see these things as the next step to move to elite status.

By the way it just kind of hitting me that LMA had 27 points. Not that it is a huge amount but it is more than his average last year and was somewhat quiet except for the early flurry. Makes me wonder if his average is going to go up again this year.

If he's going to play more of a Dirk style game, I expect his rebounds to go down. He didn't have many last night.
