He talked mad trash to me in the elevator 2 seasons ago at the nines. Said we had no chance. That day, he dropped like 40 and we lost. I was pissed!!!!

Wow! What did you say to start the convo?

You were supposed to poison him... he's not Jordan.... he can't overcome food poisoning.

Are we rivals yet KD? lol I mentioned that KD said before the game "[Blazers] aren't rivals 'cause they haven't beat us."

OKC's hubris will be their downfall. Epic like Homer - pun intended.

Lmao!!!! I was a little set back with his statement.

It was funny though because he was just sitting there looking up, then starred at me and asked, "you really think you guys are gonna beat us?" I replied "I always think we are gonna win!" He laughed and shook my hand.

I think their downfall will be Brooks. Not a good coach at all, IMO

Just got home! 2 words describe this game.....WOW FAMS!

Watching the game right now......about to read this game thread!

YES!!!

I was in a media blackout work situation tonight and just found out we won. Haven't even watched it yet, settling into the DVR now. :chestbump:

Remember after the loss to Phoenix I said we are on another 10 game win streak? I seriously believe it. I don't know if my homerism has become clairvoyant, but I had a dream we would go on (3) 10+ game win streaks this season at the start of preseason.

HAHAH. I fucking love you dude.

It's even better watching the okc broadcast right now. Haha. Fuck those guys.

You gotta stop blacking out at work and save it for the drive home.

He has a horn growth next to his eye that makes him squint.

Honk once for Aldridge!

(anyone else notice the board is more fun? with a few exceptions, of course)

RealGM @RealGM
#NBA Wed. EFF: LaMarcus Aldridge (32.5), Anderson Varejao/Andre Drummond (26.5), Tristan Thompson (25.0) -- Boxes: bit.ly/18FnZwj

I was standing about 2 feet from Westbrook post game........ Should of asked him if he wanted to hit up Subway with me! #flashbackpost

Man I fuckin love this team. No bitches like Westbrook. All DOGS
This. Lot of bitches in this league who rely on the media and the refs night in and night out. Blazers only have each other and the fans. I like our guys.

A few tweets from the Thunder's beat writer

Darnell Mayberry @DarnellMayberry
Two things about Kendrick Perkins' illegal screen in the final minute. 1) He raised his right arm and made contact, and Wes Matthews sold it

2) The ref basically issued a make-up call for the moving screen Perk set on Batum on the previous play that got KD free for that corner 3.

During an awful 3rd quarter, I asked if it's time Brooks changes the starting unit. It needs more balance & better starts to the 1st & 3rd.

But the truth is Brooks has long been handcuffed by Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook's defense

Their inconsistency on that end has forced Brooks to stick with two one-dimensional players in the first group.

And it served as an example of how Durant needs to be much better on that end. He's in Year 7, and Westbrook is in Year 6.

It's time they both step up defensively

If they don't, their continued inconsistency on defense will hold the Thunder back as much as anyone or anything else.

If Durant and Westbrook committed to playing defense, Brooks would have more options and might feel comfortable making a change.

But they haven't, despite being superbly gifted & talented. There's no reason they should be let opponents off the hook b/c of spotty D.

But the truth is Brooks has long been handcuffed by Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook's defense.

No one is talking about how Batum took it to Durant in the third quarter last night.

But that stretch helped get Portland back in the game and had as much to do with the Thunder's loss as anything else.
