I swear at one time, the Blazers were supposed to play defense because Nate was a good defensive minded coach.

Nate's defensive coaching prowess is overrated.

I doubt we'd get swept. There's too much fight in these guys to lay down like that. But the prospect of making it to the next round is super slim.

What is simply mind numbing is how a team with Gerald Wallace (solid defender), Batum (decent to solid defender) and Camby (solid, albeit aging) can suck so monumentally at defense.

If the Lakers come back against Utah, they will be I'm good position to win #1 seed since they have a game against San Antonio coming up. Crazy. Who would've though the Lakers would come back from 7 back so quickly?

If you make the playoffs, you have the chance to win a championship. If you fail to qualify, you have no chance. I'd like us to have the chance.

Give our defense a break. Yes, OKC had a good half but honestly, when was the last time a team came to the Rose Garden and lit us up for 110-120 points? It never happens.

Wallace lost the ball twice trying to bring it downcourt that I noticed and I wasn't watching closely. So probably more than twice. McMillan thinks Wallace is a Rudyesque dribbler.

Look at how much more effective Scott Brooks has made his players than ours are. Go to the basket or shoot outside and stop thinking so much!

Every time someone says, I don't see anyone better available than McMillan, just remember, Brooks was simply a good assistant coach once. Just hire the best assistant and you'll do better than McMillan.

You're asking a question that really has nothing to do with what I said. You might as well be asking me when the last time a team came into the RG and won by 50 points. That doesn't change the fact their defense has been pretty spotty this season.
