Jason Quick on Comcast's pregame show..

Talking about Martell, he might not play until the final month or even week of the regular season.
LaMarcus is going to play.
The players are talking inside the locker room about the trade rumors, wondering what's true, what's false and wondering if they'll see each other after the All-Star break.

Really Webster out for that long? Pretty Rediculous

This is not good. They don't need any distractions. Hopefully they can focus for two games.

Anyone want to give odds on us not seeing Martell this year?

If Martell's not ready until the last week of the season, I would imagine that he wouldn't be playing much (or at least shouldn't). The team will be gearing up for the playoffs and, hopefully, playing well.

That would be a bummer if he's really out that long.

wow, that totally sucks about Webster. How come it takes that long to heal the foot?

Anyone know a site where the game is being broadcast? I went to that justin.tv website that posters have mentioned in the past and I didn't see it there.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks!

Batum and Oden have got to step up from their last performance against OKC for Portland to win this game.

(God I feel like I'm turning into MIXUM)

Any one else not "feeling" it tonight against the Thunder?

I want them to embarass the thunder. like unsportsmanlike shellacking. 70 point win. callin' it now.

The feet have so many tiny bones in them in addition to the lack of circulation that feet get they just take a long time to heal. Feet and hip injuries are the worst in my opinion because not only do feet take long to heal but you have to adjust how you distribute your weight and how you stand and walk.

I broke my foot last july, a stress fracture similar to Martell's injury and I wouldn't want to try and run on it right now.

When Martell suffered his injury, I made a long post on here describing his injury, expected recovery time and what to expect going forward. In short, he suffered a Jone's fracture which is a fracture at the 5th metatarsal base (they didnt tell us this, but based off of location and description of his injury that he is what has). What makes this injury hard to heal is that it is in an area of poor blood supply. Typically you keep these patients casted and immobile up to 3 months. Needless to say, he probably healed faster, but rushed it. If you search through the threads I gave a pretty detailed explanation about this in his initial injury thread.

Sergio has been real sloppy early. Nate should keep him on the bench with Rudy in his usual rotation. Start Bayless.

I absolutely LOVE the high low. It's so smooth and effective.
