We can't seem to get two good games in a row out of Greg. A bit more of the Greg from the Milwaukee gaame should have been adequate.
can't really blame greg for this one though. there were two questionable offensive fouls called on him, one terrible loose ball foul when he and lebron collided, and then his last foul probably should have been on outlaw instead of him.

it also would have helped if they had tried to get him the ball some inside. in the first half his only shots came off of offensive rebounds and he might have gotten two actually post touches(maybe just one can't remember). you have to get a big man the ball if you want him to produce and that didn't really happen this game.

Roy missed at least 3 layups at the rim. Maybe he should consider dunking it more. Be more physical to the rim instead of trying to avoid contact all the time.

But it's nothing we didn't know coming into the game. Check the FT numbers and ask yourself if the refs really jobbed us more than expected.

Meh. The Cavs rarely drove and hit a lot of jump shots. Roy got hammered in the 2nd quarter and never got to the line.

There were tons of mental failures and lapses for the Blazers all through this game, and that is why they lost. Not any one player. All of them. Coaches included.

You have 5 fouls on Mo Williams in the 4th with 5 minutes to go and you don't go at him once to try and pick up #6, when it was pretty obvious he could not stop Bayless? He burns you with multiple 3 pointers in the final minutes.

Several times the team lost track of players in transition, leading to easy buckets.

Outlaw allowed so many wide open 3 pointers that I wanted to go down there and slap him up side the head.

Lets run a zone defense when the floor is filled with shooters again!!! Yay Nate, great call again. I was hoping after the previous 30 times it happened this year maybe you would have figured it out, but nope, you haven't.

:devilwink:

I didn't watch the whole game, but I did like how Roy maned up against LeBron. Lebron won the war, but there were a few Roy battles won.

The problem is Lebron is so strong, he wore Brandon out leaving nothing in the tank for Roy on offense. But it nice to see Roy step up to the challege of guarding Lebron.

Batum is good defender, but he got schooled today . . . chalk it down as a learning experience Batum.

Damn! Some of you guys on here crack me up! Actually complaining about Brandon's game. Trade this trade that. Nate sucks! Whatever.

It's what happens when one team shoots jump shots all game(Cavs) and the other team goes at the hoop to score(Blazers). It's a matter of fact that the outcome of games is swayed when bad calls turn into players sitting on the bench or into players playing less aggressively while in(Bayless and Oden). It was a very poorly officiated game tonight. Blazers got some calls but the Cavs got most of them. No home court advantage at all.

our fans kinda made me ashamed tonight

A friend of mine who lives in Portland but grew up in Cleveland as a Cavs fan was at the game tonight. He also thought the officiating was horrible against the Blazers.

Maybe you are not talking about the people complaining about the officials. Maybe you are.

I recorded the game and just watched it now. Sucks we lost, but they're better than us. LeBron is the best player in the game. Still, there were lots of fun things to watch. Great game by Greg Oden. He was active. That's all I ask of him. I loved watching both Oden and Outlaw block LeBron. And Bayless had a great stretch there in the 4th quarter and even played some decent defense on LeBron. I'll take this loss. 25-17. Utah, Dallas, and Phoenix all lost so we're still in 6th place. Let's win the next one.

our defense turned them into a jump shooting team and they made most of them. simple as that.

This is a good loss. we played hard and with effort

I sure as shit think B-Roy should have had at least 3+ times at the free-throw line.

It wasn't Batum that was schooled on Defending 'Bron, it was Outlaw....

Yea, why would anyone complain about an injured player trying to go one-on-one all game long against a team that was shutting him down en rout to an 8-23 shooting night?

Nate's rotations are perfect. He always knows how to use Oden effectively.

Sure, we got the short-end of the calls. We knew that coming into the game. Why are we complaining about something we knew was coming and wasn't as bad as it could have been? Do you remember when Wade slipped and fell with the ball and was rewarded free throws? Now THAT was a bad call.
