Listening to some insider NBA talk and LA radio feed the Clippers are going after Vince Carter. They are trying to get partners to make the deal work. Whatever happens the Nets have informed they do not want to take on money over the cap since they want to be set for the 2010 mark.

I don't understand. I hope if it happens it happens right at the trade deadline if we're out of playoffs picture. But if we're in - why do we need to trade VC?
IMO it's obvious it's going to be almost impossible for the Nets to land any superstar if Brooklyn project doesn't work.

The Clippers' starting 5 isn't bad at all. I have no idea why they are doing so bad, even with Camby injured at the beginning of the season. This is definitely not a game to be taken lightly

Nets have to come out and win this game against the Clippers or the win against Toronto gets diminished a little. Frank has to remind them of that. They have to treat this game like a 2nd overtime against the Raptors. I don't want to see them take a step back and lose this game. Let's see some progress.

Alright, I'm being forced to post this here just to have a public, verifiable time stamp for the post because VCOnline is down (AGAIN!). I'm playing this VC stats game over there this year, and the site has been notoriously flaky. I've been trying to get in to post my stat predictions periodically over the last few hours, and it's still down, only 10 minutes before the broadcast starts. So here goes.
