I have to agree with this take.Understandably because it’s a different coach. Same results with Stotts this place would be on fire.

A quick article says he is not panicking and he is willing to stay the course.Kind of wondering what Dame's mood is...
Yeah, because we'd have no hope for improvement.

I have us at 12-18 after 30. Hope my guy doesn’t start packing his bag if this ends up happening. It would take a DISASTER like a 10-25 start for Dame to ask out mid-season. This upcoming summer is what worries me. Luckily we have one of the most loyal dudes in the league on our side. Very few GMs could screw that up, though we might have one of them.

I got them going .500 at 10-10 after 20 games but then starting to put it together so hopefully 16-14 after 30. If that happens then this team might be in a good place. It would take a DISASTER like a 10-25 start for Dame to ask out mid-season. This upcoming summer is what worries me. Yes, I know what he's SAYING, I'm wondering what he's FEELING.A quick article says he is not panicking and he is willing to stay the course.
I want to say that SURELY if our record is a DISASTER then we'll have a new GM...It would take a DISASTER like a 10-25 start for Dame to ask out mid-season. This upcoming summer is what worries me. Very possible there is a difference for sure.Yes, I know what he's SAYING, I'm wondering what he's FEELING.
We lose even when Dame goes thermonuclear... We need a better roster. We honestly need better ownership. That "second-best offense in the ENTIRE league" was consistently stymied in the playoffs, year after year. An offense that is predicated on the star player going thermonuclear in order to accomplish anything is not reliable come playoff time, which is what we are all concerned about. We want a team that is built and managed in such a way that when the game changes in the playoffs, it has the ability to adapt and remain successful, not immediately crap out.

I'd like to see more from him. A leader who calls for the team to support the new coach and believe in the new systems.A quick article says he is not panicking and he is willing to stay the course.
He might be? I guess he could do it more in the media? I hope he is all in when he is with the team.I'd like to see more from him. A leader who calls for the team to support the new coach and believe in the new systems.

You sir, speak the truth. It really might not be insanely unlikely that we see a few teams that surprisingly miss the playoffs.
I'm thinking 3-7 in these games.....maybe 4-6. Tough to beat the same team twice in a row on the road. These 10 games.
It is like you can’t split WSH/ORL, since the rest are going to be tough games. You would be content going 3-3 in this stretch.
And you would expect to win the season series vs Minn; but twice on their home court could be tough; and those games in PHX and UTAH are going to be tough.
If we can go 8-2 in these games, we will finish with HCA in the playoffs.

And I bet you are probably thinking ORL/WAS are at least 1/2 of those 3/4 wins.I'm thinking 3-7 in these games.....maybe 4-6. Tough to beat the same team twice in a row on the road.
Oct they might get lucky and get out 3-3And I bet you are probably thinking ORL/WAS are at least 1/2 of those 3/4 wins.
Those are the games we HAVE to win this year if we are to stay afloat in the west.
That Denver game is the barometer for that first trip. If we can beat Denver, I feel confident we can carry that momentum through WAS/ORL and start out 3-0. Then if you win 1/3 and end 4-2 on the first stint you are feeling great about that 6 game stretch.
If we are slumping at that time it could easily look like 1-2 or 0-3 and then you are scrapping to salvage that road stretch against playoff/HCA teams in the east.
