Well, I think there were quite a few of us who wanted G-Wall. I think the sticking point was that Charlotte wanted Batum at the time, and many fans didn't want to give up Batum for him. I was one of the few who probably would have dealt Batum to get Wallace.... boy am I psyched that we were able to get Gerald without giving up Nic.

during the offseason and at trade deadlines over the past few years, GW was one of the players the board constantly dreamt up scenarios to attain. Nice for the stars to align and make our collective hopes come true

Wallace and Miller are two players I've wanted on the Blazers for a long time...and while I'm thrilled to have them both, I kinda wish we got them at a younger age. But it's still great.

I think Wallace is still at an ideal age.... maybe just a bit younger..... but I'm happy to have some guys who are vets but also in their prime. Miller on the other hand is in the twilight of his career and I wish we had gotten him five or six years ago. He's been one of my favorite players for a while. He's not flashy, just one of those guys who gets it done every night.
