This is doable guys. The top vote getter only got 1.5 million votes last year. This year, everyone is ballot so the top vote getter will probably get less. Dame has over 500,000 Twitter followers. I'm going to reach out to Dame. If they all vote twice, he's in. If all 20,000 people in the Rose Garden on any given night voted 75 times, they're in. How many people live in Portland and how many people read the Oregonian? I want to organize a campaign. Maybe we could all chip in for the effort- newspaper and magazine ads etc. The truth is most people don't give a shit about this and don't vote so if we put together a real effort, we could do this.

I'm down to help, but it's not doable.

I really think the Blazers could have stations all around the Game Center and give discounts to merch to get people to vote. There can be so much to motivate people to vote for their team

I have 80K followers myself too so I can ask them to vote.

Because.... We are one team out of 15, in a smallish city in a huge nation, and the vote is still international. There is no way at all that RObin Lopez gets voted in over Dwight Howard, Or Wesly Matthews over Russell Westbrook.

I dig the optimism, but a little reality is helpful too. Not that it's not a fun idea.

I think King is explaining that 1.5 mil votes wins the spot. If Dame has his followers vote 3 times, that's 1.5 mil votes. If the Rose Garden has people vote when they are at the game up until voting ends, then he's voted in for sure.

Dude. Howard didn't even start last year. Love beat him out with 667,000 votes. Who cares if its international? People aren't voting. If everyone in the Rose Garden on any given night votes 35 times, RoLo will start. It's basic math. And the vote counts will probably be lower this year because everyone is on the ballot.

Exactly. It will only take a little effort.

How about we vote for who deserves it?

Why? How about we make a statement on how the NBA fan voting is stupid as fuck?! Why does large markets get to have their players in that don't deserve it?

I rather the best players get to start. Fuck fan voting... I already know what the starting lineup is going to be, Curry/Kobe/Durant/Griffin/Howard.

My vote is going to be

Dame/Curry (See where the two are by January(
Thompson
Durant (If he comes back and plays normally)
Davis
Cousins

You're assuming all of Dame's followers would vote for him. I'm sure many of them follow other players as well.

It would be a combined effort from all fronts. If Dame had 25% of his followers vote, but every week, that would still work. Add the Moda sponsorship, other outlets and it would be easy

Sorry, I am not going to pay big money to go to a game then spend it voting the entire time. Besides, the space is limited anyway unless I am using MGB's seats. For the Charlotte game both of the people next to me were touching me almost the entire game. Add voting to that equation and it would have been a threesome.

If you go to 7 games, vote 5 times at each game. Plus, vote online.

It appears it's going to be tough to explain basic math to people but we have to make the effort, magnifier.

Huh?! Dude you can vote on your phone! You post in here during games.

Man we got some weird fans... Just make a daily effort to vote for your players. It takes like 5 minutes to do it.

It's not happening. Give up the dream.

The number of people that would actually give up a couple seconds of their day to vote is extremely, extremely limited.

What about the people in China?

Dude. You're not listening. LeBron only got 1.5 million votes last year INCLUDING China. Curry only got 1 million votes. If 20,000 Blazers fans vote 35 times, we will have the top vote getter at each position. Or if Lillard's followers vote for him twice, he's in. Not many people in China. Not many people anywhere vote. 1.5 million votes is nothing.

Haha sooo pessimistic! So you are saying you won't vote everyday from December 15th yet you post in here everyday minute of every day?
