Bayless had Chase and Hill on his team, too, so he didn't have to lead his team in scoring.

Love had some other guys on the team who could score, too.

Not sure what Mayo's and Lopez's excuses are. They're just not as good at scoring, I guess.

Think it was because Marcus was in summer league practice and Harris isn't.

Ryan is no dummy. Work the pg and you get the ball!

Lets not forget that Brook Lopez averaged 19 ppg. He's not like your usual Nets big man, the guy can score.

Maybe it's because Marcus is extremely talented pg who at 22 years old relates best to the young players...he has two seasons of NBA experience and is seemingly working harder than ever to prove his worth in this league, they see that.

It's amazing how fickle people are as fans...don't get me wrong I like Devin Harris alot as a player and love having him on this team, but Marcus could also be a very good player for us and potentially be a better player in the long term, yet it seems so many fans want to see him fail.

I don't think any Nets fan wants to see a player fail, it's just that after 2 seasons of poor performance it's understandable that the faith in this kid is being replaced by frustration. He's nearing Antoine Wright territory.

Hill is nothing as a scorer. He's not a talented scorer who should be mentioned with Chase. If you wanna say that, then you might as well include Pat Christopher on Cal, who's just as talented a scorer as Hill, probably more so.

I concur, i think MW gon be a good PG in this league. He just needs the right coach.
