My buddy makes "ghost hunting" apps. Actually some dude in india made them for him for peanuts. Total bullshit, it just records you talking and chops it up, puts effcts on it, and plays it backwards back to you. It also has a 13 minute loop of scary gurgling noises and grunts and shit playing in the background.
He has made over $250k on them so far.

I used to have that problem - but I switched to composting instead of just leaving them out for the vultures.

When I was in the home inspection business back in the 80's one of my fellow guys within the same company inspected an old vacant farm house. The buyer was exceptionally strange due to his pale face and dark sunglasses. It was in the summer. He was in the basement with the buyer and through peripheral vision he saw shadows to the right and felt a cold breeze against his face. The buyer asked why he was nervous and he responded with a beyond the scope of the inspection statement but the shadows and cold breezes affected him enough to mention he experienced these events. The buyer removed his glasses with the iris and pupils to be the same dark color. He said he knew about the shadows and is buying the house because it was haunted.
