I think it's a little early considering we're barely into round 2.

some of the picks are head scratchers though but I like mine so weeeee.
 
I know picking Josh Smith that high was bit of a reach, but I really dont like players who are maybe slightly better than him.

I agree with this. Not sure he's a franchise player just yet.
 
Is there a waiting list for teams? It seems silly for a team to potentially have no 1st or 2nd round calibre players

There is no waiting list, but I'm sure there is someone who wants to take over a team. You know anyone?

That's why I'm going to give GK (or whomever) extra time into my pick.
 
I dunno who would be interested, but we should try to find someone ASAP, or else possibly make this a 29 team League, since the 30th would be useless.

He was online yesterday at 4:30 PM (eastern), so it's not like he's been missing for days. It actually hasn't even been a full day yet.

Yeah I know, he's a reach.

I'm kind of biased towards him as a player (sort of a fan I suppose), sorry about that.
 
Alright, here's an idea.

If GK6 doesn't sign on in time to make his current pick (by 7:45 tonight), I'll make both selections for him since I'm not in this draft. But I'm not going to take over his team just because he didn't sign on for a day. That's silly. It's just bad luck that both his picks happened to fall on the day he might have been too busy to get to a computer. This way, he doesn't get royally screwed by not getting his first two picks, but he still gets to retain his team in the long run.

Sound good?

No, but missing your first two picks does completely screw over a team.

I think this is a pretty fair move. Not everyone can be online on a Friday/Saturday.
 
We'll go with what JCB proposed and if it gets to a point where he's missing picks consistently, then we can replace him, I have a person if the situation should arise.

I thought we were supposed to wait until closer to the deadline of his second pick (7:45 pm).
 
I didn't want it. I was just going to pick for GK if he didn't sign on later tonight since I'm not participating in this draft. Taking over someone's team because he/she hasn't been on for one day doesn't make any sense to me.
 
This involved about 5 pms in the space of a minute

I offered it as the solution was being written, and then rescinded it moments later. Didn't seem to take that one on board though, lol.

Unfortunately for danxcr, those picks are invalid. Plus, DynastyWarrior has another person lined up who isn't in either Draft, which would be bettter.

So just so everything's squared away, c___n _u_ler, _avi_ __st, and _____FOYLE are still available?
 
So just to be clear, those picks haven't been made yet, but will be made at 7:45 if GK doesn't pop in. So I shouldn't go now.
