It's going to be a gloomy year for football in the state of Oregon. I see both teams being middle of the Pac. Unfortunate.

I won't be surprised if they beat the Ducks this season though, until I see our defense improve with my own eyes... I will continue the belief that we suck still, badly.

Oh we will somehow come into Seattle and win, Oregon gets one win per year that they have no business winning. If that happens its a win for the Huskies.![]()
CSU almost dropping a 60 burger on a pac-12 defense, that's impressive no matter what.
Add in the fact the Blazers will be a middle of the pack western team (and I don't mean 4/5 seed...)... Thank Jesus weed is legal here... We need itIt's going to be a gloomy year for football in the state of Oregon. I see both teams being middle of the Pac. Unfortunate.

We did beat Utah last season... Don't get too comfy up there

Same. I just hope Taggart is the right guy, he can recruit but that's only 1/2 the game.I'll believe it when I see it.

USC is gonna be good, I believe they are the team to beat in the PAC. UW lost a lot of studs to the draft so they will still be good but there will be a learning curve, kinda similar to what Oregon went through from 2014 to 2015, obviously UW is better prepared due to far better coaching though.Yeah, it's been impressive what he's been able to do recruiting, but will it translate on the field. The only team I am worried about is USC, especially if Darnald proves to be the real deal and not a one year wonder.
Well, if Leavitt can right the ship defensively and Taggart can develop Herbert further, I don't think 8-9 wins is too crazy a possibility/goal. I still think 6 wins is about where we are at before watching us play a down.I think UO is going to be better than pundits are predicting.

One would think with better coaching we should have beaten Nebraska, Colorado, and OSU. But like I said, until the defense can prove to make stops or hell even stop a runningback doing a wheel route, I will remain cynical.I think UO was worse last year than they should have been. I don't think the hole is as deep as some would believe after last year.
I'm gonna take that as a compliment. Can't consider us bandwagon fans. The Beavers lose every year to some no name team. How embarassing for Beaver fans. You guys deserve a medal for sticking with this team.
That was brutal. I never expected us to get our ass kicked like that.
Beavs played about how I thought they would the first couple quarters. CSU is supposed to be a pretty good team. Still embarassing looking at the final score and knowing they are in a shit conference.Heat + altitude. Not sure how many teams could have survived that.
Not too worried. If we lose to portland state, the panic button will need to be hit.

Colorado State?Heat + altitude. Not sure how many teams could have survived that.
Uhm. No.Oh we will somehow come into Seattle and win, Oregon gets one win per year that they have no business winning.
