If the Warriors slip into the Lottery, they may tank hard trying to get the pick in the 1-4 range so they can keep it. And that might not be so bad.
Because next year, it is only Top-2 protected and it is a stronger Draft. They would be even older and I doubt whatever pick they got this year would immediately have a huge impact.
HUGE. In the grand scheme of things, we are really just two forwards away from filling out the bulk of our future roster.i really like this pick right now. 2024 Draft could be huge for us
things aren't gravy in Dub Nation. CP3 decided to go tough guy mode on a ref, got sent to the showers.
It's like watching a movie when there are no likable characters. I can't stand Chris Paul, or Steven Kerr, or Scott Foster.
Why doesn't nbadraft have the warriors pick listed? Is it someone elses before it was Bostons and then potentially Portlands?

Shorting the Warriors needs no added incentive. The pick is just gravy.I know it is a little early to start rooting for certain teams to win in order to keep GS out of the play-in games.
It's never too early to root for others teams to win, as long as it screws the Warriors, Heat or Lakers (the NBA Axis of Evil).I know it is a little early to start rooting for certain teams to win in order to keep GS out of the play-in games. I think the Clippers, T-Wolves, Thunder, Nuggets, Kings, and Suns.... should all finish above them.
It is this group I think that I think we might need help from: Lakers, Rockets, Pelicans, and Mavs
However more than likely at least one of them drops and the Warriors make the Play-in
‘This’ is our in-season tournament. X1000The Blazers have 3 remaining games against Golden State. 2 of them are in Portland.

If we nail this draft like how the Pels nailed it the year they drafted Murphy and Jones, we might be competing sooner than expected. We have two guys that look like they’ll be great valuable interchangeable wings off the bench already in Camara and Walker. Two more high potential wings (maybe both are lotto-l talents) added next summer and we have a forward core that might even challenge the guard depth. Between those four guys and whatever you can get out of Rupert and Murray, that’s a lot more talent at that we’ve had at those positions for as long as I’ve been a Blazers fan I think.
Trust in Schmitz.
The Magic are looking solid rn.

Banchero picked things up, he's gotta be climbing player of the month. It’s the Joe Ingles effect
This does not warrant a “pick watch” thread, but I’m putting it out there in case anyone cares or is excited about it:
Blazers own the more favorable of the Minny and Charlotte 2nds, unprotected. Charlotte currently is just 2 games behind us in the loss column, with LaMelo set to miss significant time. His first ankle injury looks like it happened last October and has persisted into this season (36gp last year).
They’re currently sitting at the 7th best odds for the #1 pick, and losing LaMelo is only going to help them climb the odds. We are looking at the pick that could be as good as 31 and probably as bad as 35, essentially a late 1st.
Yup. I’m not sure why, I only came to the realization that the CHA 2nd could be valuable like 20 minutes ago. The ATL 2nd will probably be between 40-45, nothing to get excited over, but could probably move us up a few spots with the CHA pick to secure who we want. Thanks for clarifying that.
LaMelo Ball PG Tue, Nov 28 Ankle Expected to be out until at least Dec 23
Assuming the Blazers miss the playoffs, they'll have their own 1st round pick and the following:
- 2024 first-round pick via Golden State (top-4 protected)
- 2024 second-round pick (via Minnesota or Charlotte, most favorable)
- 2024 second-round pick (via Atlanta)
