Golden State Warriors pick watch (1 Viewer)

Celtics and Warriors going to overtime in SF. Disappointing that the C's had the back with 13 seconds left and couldn't get anything better than a contested Tatum 3. Sometimes, it's better not to just give the ball to your star and hope for the best, especially when he's 5-15 on the night.

... And Curry ices it with a deep 3 with 2 left on the shot clock to put the Warriors up 4 with 10 seconds left.

Heartbreaker, you expect an L when they play the best team in the east. The bad is they’re 1.0 games out of 10th. The good is that they don’t seem don have a guy that’s stepped up. Klay has been scorching the last few games, but there hasn’t been a young guys that’s really stepped up.

There’s a little more clarity on the suspension, at least three weeks. That would be at least another ten games. Just need to gauge this situation periodically, no need to think too much about it.

Best in the east, sure, but only .500 on the road. Home court has interestingly meant a LOT more this year leaguewide than in recent seasons.

Celtics are going to be like that. Really need someone that can take over late. Golden State was playing Paul and Curry during crunch time. Boston still could not get a good look.

Might be a good thing that the Warriors are winning a few lately. Keeps them from going full tank early.

I know I'm going against the rooting majority mob here, but the Warriors are a good team who I expect to be in the playoffs. I don't have high hopes for a 2nd lotto pick from what looks to be a pretty crappy draft class.

I expect they will as well. I hope they aren't, but am expecting it. I think up to this point they have had the hardest schedule in the league. So yes, Draymond is currently out, but the schedule will be getting softer, and it's possible that by Green being out, forcing Kerr's hand with guys like Kuminga to get more minutes, they could end up being deeper come stretch run.

I agree that they will probably make the playoffs, but the only team i see falling out are the rockets. The warriors will need to go the play in route

That's the typical shot Boston takes. A lot of teams are taking 3-pointers even when the game is tied.

Look at CJ McCollum bricking a 3-point shot when the score was tied and it was their last possession.

A 3 is fine, if it comes organically. It's when someone is so set on being "the man" and trying to create the final shot for himself, but then leaves himself and his team no other option than a crappy shot that I get annoyed.

Except when it was Dame.

Man scoot is a bitter disappointment
I was gonna say... Scoot had a good outing in that last Warriors game. 14 points in 21m, i think fans agreed the biggest disappoinment was seeing Scoot playing well, then get benched for his efforts.

Just like what happened to Jabari Walker last night. He was rewarded for his efforts by being put on the bench with 3 minutes left in the game.

So Billups could insert Grant to miss rebounds that turned into put-backs, and of course, for the "Grant Finale" throw a bank shot (bank definitely closed) off the upper right quadrant of the backboard to end the game.

What a fitting end for a loss at home to a 4-win Wizards squad.

Maybe it's better for Billups not to call a timeout if this is the garbage that he concocts.

If not for Grant's 3-pt shooting, that is a brutal night for that paycheck. My goodness, Lucas, Williams and Brian Grant and shaking their heads in disbelief.

Blazers have become their own worst enemy. 3 straight losses to the Dubs. Can't rely on Portland to beat GSW, the other NBA teams are gonna have to do all the dirty work.

Unfortunately, barring a Curry injury, this Golden State team will likely play themselves out of the lottery.

BPOD & Jackson-Davis: great rotation pieces. I was screaming myself hoarse for us to draft Jackson-Davis, but Rupert was a good get at that spot. Both (BPOD & TJD) have great motors and high BBIQ's. They're picking up a lot of slack and along with Kuminga and Saric have completely transformed that bench.

I'm not worried. They're a bad team. They have boosted their record this month because they got to play us a bunch, but they can't beat good teams. Denver just beat them.

Is Boston a good team or are you just posting whatever comes to mind as per usual?

Are you literally incapable of making posts that sound like a raging asshole? Are you like this in person? I have known you now for like 15 years in this community and your posts are some of the most combative and condescending posts on here. You have battled with countless people. When I read these posts, I imagine a giant butthole puckering as words come out.

Hey, I thought I was the most combative and condescending?!? Thanks a lot, Nate!

So any team that loses to Denver in Denver is now a bad team? Going to agree with STOMP on this one and guess you were spitballing.

GS has played the sixth highest strength of schedule before this game was taken into consideration. They have beaten multiple teams that are currently in the playoffs, one being the current champion favorites the Celtics. They get a nice home stand to build on the current momentum. Thompson's shooting is getting better. Paul is back. Kuminga is playing better in Green's absence. Podziemski is contributing. They still have room for growth with Wiggins not in form. Payton and Green will be back eventually.

I still see them as a team that will have to win in the play in to make the playoffs with the possibility of being in the lottery with injuries. Not great, but a decent team. To say they are a bad team is just wishful thinking IMO.

Anthony Davis played great, 40/13/4 for L.A.
but it too much Boston tonight, good D & O

got a barn burner in Miami, the Sixers just tied it up going into the 4th.
