Not trying to be a naysayer or anything, because I pray that it's true, but is there some sort of study or anything more than just this IG post?

only 18 people in the initial trial, but the fact that it's 100% in remission in every subject is amazing.

having worked with people at sloan kettering before, i know they do terrific work there. hope this is a start of similar news to come elsewhere. PD-1 has been a drug target for oncolytics for a while now and I feel like every big pharma company has candidates to modulate it. This proof of concept could be massive.

Just put my mom on hospice from this battle :(

Oh damn, so sorry to hear this, my friend.

Cancer sucks.

When my mom was battling cancer Kaiser sent my dad and me to counseling. Looking back it was really helpful. Being strong and supportive for your mom while hiding your own pain is hard. It's okay to ask for help. The stronger you are the stronger you can be for your family.

That's really good advice. Dealing with loss is different for everyone but sometimes the best thing is just an open ear.

Fuck cancer!

Sorry for that...I lost both parents to battles with cancer long ago..it's not an easy process to deal with at all.

Thanks brother. Stayed at her house last night and had tickets to go see Jack White. I told her it's hard for me to go enjoy. Her advice was to let the music soothe my soul and it did. At one point he got on the piano and was facing me directly on the side of the stage, first time I've ever cried at a rock concert.... his guitars were so cool.

Sorry to hear man. Been through that shit with my dad. It's not easy. Enjoy the time you have with her left. Hopefully, hospice can at least keep her comfortable.

It's good to let yourself feel it. Music is healing. When my dad passed, I listened alot to Monsters by James Blunt and Lazarus by David Bowie (who died the same month as my dad).
