What a horrible last 2 periods.

This team every year is absolutely horrible on 5 on 3 PPs

Really frustrating game again
 
Cant wait for chuck to tell us everything is going to be ok and this team can do some special things this year.
 
Too much dumping the puck and weak shooting. They'll regret this one later in the year.
 
Just can't get any momentum going this season. Kreider's season is turning into a complete waste. Zucc doing nothing to show he should be resigned.
 
Girardi and Staal both need to go after the year.

Yeah, he sucks. They shouldn't even tender him next year. Lets go get O'Reilly who has less career points in more games.

What I saw tonight was a team that wasn't ready to play and that's unfortunate because they had a whole week to prepare. I didn't like the idea of starting Talbot and not that any of this was his fault but we're only going as far as Henrik takes us and we needed a win today. Didn't get it, now we have the pens coming to town.

Hayes had a very good game. Klein had a pretty good game although if Staal ever made the play he did on that third goal there would be 300 posts about it. Don't watch the crease, clear it.

The two guys who really need to pick it the hell up are Zucc and Kreider. Those are half the top 6 wings and we are getting no production out of them. Zucc was noticeable tonight. Kreider I wouldn't have even realized suit up if Joe wasn't pointing out his incompetence.

Long way to go but at some point that won't be true anymore. Monday is a huge game, lets see if they get up for it.
 
Mcd has been an awful captain so far. I wonder if the guy is even healthy.
 
They will get up for the pens but then they don't play until saturday again. Western swing disaster is incoming.

He hasn't found his game at all which will hopefully come. As for being a leader it remains to be seen. With guys like St. Louis on this team it really shouldn't be an issue.
 
The Western road trip could very well define the season. I know it's December and I am not on the "fire everyone" party that's been going on since maybe game 3, but if they don't take at least 2 of those 3 there this could get ugly. Edmonton hasn't win since they beat us about a month ago and I really think the Canucks are playing way over their heads. Need those 2 badly.
 
McDonagh just needs to step up his offensive game, he's making alot of bad decisions. He's fine as a C though.
 
You know what i'm getting at Prod, he's just not all some here crack him up to be.
 
I see him get bashed on here way more often than get talked up. I started a thread on him because he's on a point per game pace and still is and nobody had said a word about it.
 
Good captains lead by example. McD does not seem to show any emotion or urgency.
 
Maybe it's mostly Chuck then.lol Somehow he ends up with the numbers he does.
 
Meltdown mode again. All the dmen suck. McD is an awful captain. Stepan sucks.

At this point they're both just existing out there, and barely give anything offensive for 5m. Klein should be making more at this stage. Boyle just needs to shoot more but he's been hurt.
 
With all that being said, tonight was a terrible loss. First time I am actually really angry after a game. Many chances and couldn't score. AV has Hunwick and Girardi on the point on the PP during one stretch. Kreider is the guy who by far should be the one we are getting on. He has been flat out lost, and needs to get his sh*t together ASAP. Followed by Zucc. Yet we complain about guys like Stepan and McD...comical.
 
Oh I get it now sc...you are expecting O from Girardi and Staal, that's the issue. Why would you expect O from them? That is on you bro not them. They don't provide O, especially Staal. I expect two guys who don't provide O to provide O, and when they don't I'll get mad at them...good luck with that buddy.

That is why I see literally ZERO reason to re-sign Staal...why would we? Girardi to me is better, but they are similar...we don't need Girardi at 5.5 mill and Staal at 6 mill per, that would be a dumb signing for us hands down.
 
I am glad we are at least making chuck laugh. This team is special. They are about to get on a roll.
 
Stepan and golden boy aren't averse to blame, they both need to step up more. I guess the bigger issue is roster just lacks completeness and balance.

I'm not looking for them to be Drew Doughty but can they at least give them something more, Staal especially?
