Back on topic. I keep pretty good track of the things I'm not allowed to say and try not to say them.

It isn't fair but I don't really give a shit. Life ain't fair.

Wow! You are skillful.
I find it easy, sometimes I don't even know how I did it. Which is regrettable. Then there are times, I didn't intend it, but someone makes it fit.
If I insult everyone I want I'll pass HCP'S post count in a few weeks. 10 percent will be insults of myself.

The more of an asshole a guy is, the more pussy he will get.

Is this you Nate?

Yeah, I'll sign that for you. Just give me your address.

Awesome. It's 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, DC. Come see me anytime. Just hop the fence if the gate isn't open.

I can't figure out what this kid said, that actually ruffled the feathers?
I had about 275 programmers and engineers in my group. Finding good ones was dang hard to do. Firing good ones would really be painful. Firing them for saying the unaccepted would be unthinkable!?!?

According to latest information Google has about 28,000 people in R&D, about 17% of these are women.

As Google's CEO clearly said - he crossed a line when he caused almost 5,000 employees to wonder if they are treated equally and the company believes the can be as good as or better than other engineers because of their sex.

So - 1 idiot kid vs 5,000 engineers? It would have been stupid to keep this idiot around - there should be no problems with him thinking whatever he wants - but circulating a memo in the company that causes so many people the feel hurt? Who needs this none-sense?

Just think if Google was to support this idiot's right to the "facts" he kid got out of his rear-end and Facebook, Apple and all other companies would just come out with a call to show women they are more than welcome to come work for them. Losing just 20% of them is 1,000 engineers (not to mention the other 4,000 rightfully upset ones).

We do not want any idiots that make a lot of our engineers and programmers feel unhappy - seriously - your argument that it is hard to lose good engineers and developers is exactly why they had to get rid of his ass.

Quite a response but for one thing, you did not help at all. I have no idea what the kid said that cause so much devastation. or why it did.

There's this company called Google? They make a search engine? You can use that search engine to find out what this former Google employee said. Try it, you might like it.

Yeah, Google is my preferred way to Bing for information.

On a related note, I ran across this post on Free Republic and was amused:

"Funny/odd....I just typed Liberty Daily into my Bing search, and it came up as Lion of Liberty site."

Their boycott of Google has pushed them to Bing which, apparently, isn't serving them too well.

Drunk?

What I said is very coherent, that is exactly what Google's ceo wrote, I just added the numbers and translated with some swear words - better to fire one engineer than piss off 5000

Uhhhhhh, this yours or the Google CEO? Makes no sense whatsoever. And nonsense works fine, none-sense?
