do you think the players would welcome a ring-shopper (Jermaine, Ray Allen, etc) mid-season at the expense of someone like Claver or Barton?
Great question. I'd love for you to answer this!

Did I ever tell you my Dan Dickau warming-up-in-front-of-me story?

I'm not asking you to spill secrets, but is the upcoming contract situation this summer something you've ever heard players talking about?
Not at all, and I've certainly tried to get them to talk about it. While I'd like to know, I can't really blame them for deferring to their agents, which is what they pay them for anyway.

Predict the next 3 seasons for Portland. Basically where they will be as far as being an elite team, where they will exit in the playoffs (IF AT ALL, BRO), etc.
I am on an unprecedented streak of incorrect predictions, so I'm not sure it would be worth your time for me to offer up predictions three years from now.

do you get the sense that there's any (even healthy) frustration among the younger guys with the rotation policy, or has the rationale (if there is one) been sufficiently explained? As fans we see that Kaman is starting, even though the stats say he plays better off the bench. Crabbe followed up strong games with a couple weeks of DNPs. Leonard didn't get much run until Joel went down, and is playing really well. CJ went from 15mpg to out to 13 mg to a great 26mpg against HOU to 6mpg...etc. Do you get the feel that the rationale been explained?

Does HCP just do lawn maintenance, or do the players make him wash their cars, too?

Great question. I'd love for you to answer this!
I think they'd welcome anyone who could give them a better chance of winning. Now, whoever got cut for something like that probably wouldn't be too happy, but that's to be expected.

I think the better question is whether those types of players are really what this team needs going forward. Historically, adding players midseason isn't as helpful as most of us assume it is.

Terry has explained to the players over and over and over again that it's the starters, Kaman and Blake who get regular minutes. Everyone else is catch as catch can. They are all very aware of that situation.

Obviously, the MRI on LA's thumb could impact this decision.

Who do you pick for the Finals?

Thanks, Casey. Come back anytime.

Casey! Glad to see this thread here! My question as I'm late to the party here. What do you sense about the culture in the lockerroom around Nic since he's been off his game a bit this season. Is it supportive? Who does Victor Claver seem close to on the roster?

I'll take over from here, thanks Casey!

Dear HCP,

Can you explain the variability in the making of a Mexican Pizza? Sometimes I get it made pretty nicely, sometimes its just a crunchy tortilla with some enchilada sauce covered with cheese.

Thanks.

Big fan of your work.

Dear HCP,

Is that smell coming from Mrs. HCP's potpourri pot in your bathroom lavender with a hint of rosemary?

I don't reveal my recipes FAMS!
