The quality of health care has been on the decline in many areas. Many health care providers are cutting costs and corners.
Maybe it is a coinsidence, but the more our government gets involved, the more difficult it has become to find quality care. But that is not the reason for my post.
I will share my own true horror story, but funny.
My large dog ran full speed into the side of my leg, tearing the miniscus. My doctor ordered a MRI at the local hospital.
At the hospital, I was met by two very nice nurses. One informed me everything was ready for my ultrasound. I just stood there with my mouth open, not knowing what to say.
Finally one of the nurses caught on, and said.
Really mister, at your age, you should know better than to get pregnant. The main nurse still did not catch on that she was setting up for the wrong test. After a long pause, with two of us laughing, she finally got it.
After the MRI, that was with a different nurse (hospital entered incorrect test in the computer). I ran into the two ultrasound nurses. And told them.
Good news, I'm having twins. We all had a good laugh. But I will never feel comfortable in that hospital again.
